@Bruce Jenner Is Not A Woman My girl is 7 now, and I cant stop thinking of the day thats gonna come. It fills me with such sadness and anger but I feel hopeless to avoid it... Every day I grab her and smell her and hug her and try and force myself to remember that moment, but I dont know if anything will ever be enough. Every day I wake up and I cant really capture the moment we had.. I lost my mom about 6 years ago and that hurt more than anything, but it does get easier, although I know that doesnt help you right now.. Im so so sorry for you, but im sure you gave her the best life possible, and you will remember her for the rest of you life :)

Pitbulls are unfortunately the most common dog that gets used for things like dog fighting and in turn there are more of them that have the tendency to protect themselves, dogs aren't just born aggresive its conditioned into them.

Thank men like Colby and old family red nose the pioneers of the breed. And thank the men in England who had the idea of cross breeding old English bull dogs with white terriers to create BULL and TERRIERS. Unfortunately they were bred for bull and bear baiting and later dog fighting but it's because of this history and breeding we have these dogs today .

I have heard of Pits become THERAPY dogs-even Cesar Millan had a Pit named “Junior” who he used to calm aggressive dogs he helped to rehabilitate. Junior was very calm, cool and collected. He was as docile as any dog could be. Was sad when I heard Junior passed away a few years ago and went to Rainbow Bridge. He’s with Jesus now and playing with all the other dogs who passed on. RIP, Junior, and all like you. You were one of the best-and you still are!

It's just an animal... thats the facts of the matter. Animals that are dangerous should come with expectations that they be handled as such.... consider how Jocelyn Stinchcomb is doing right now (weeks ago several pitbulls got out of an owners home and literally tore her scalp off, as well as damaged most of one side of her face her ear having to be sewed back on and she may never feel that side of her face again). I don't hate people that own pits, I hate people that own them and treat them as if the were angels... the fact is they are a powerful animal and *must* be treated with the requisite repect. The owner of those pits is out on bond, and still has pits that were not put down.

My baby girl Sombra would always greed me with that face in the morning. She would be there at the edge of my bed until she saw me wake up. I would open my eyes, and the first thing I would see is her beautiful sweet eyes staring at me with so much love. I don't think anyone has ever stare at me like she did. +demas22 Are the door to the cage open it closed? Right.... A cage is used in a lot of ways. This one are probably this dogs place to go when he wants to relax and sleep. Instead of having a big doghouse indoors a cage is not as heavy to move when cleaning the house. Many dogs like to have that special place. I owned a cage from when I had a dog that I went to dog shows with. There the cage is about the same thing basically. A place where the dog can go and relax. Away from all other dogs. The dog knows that when the door is closed no other dog or human can get to them. My dog I have now uses it to go and sleep. The door is always open and she goes in there when she wants to. A dog should be in a cage in the car. For safety reasons. The best way for the dog to get used to that cage and actually like it is to have a cage indoors first. The owner makes sure to make the cage a happy place and/or relaxing space for the dog. That way it will NOT become a prison for the dog when used in the car. Somerset dogs dont give a shit and dont have to get used to it like this. But some dogs that are a bit anxious or maybe has come from a bad previous owner needs to do this. There are many other ways a cage can be used in a good way and not at all as a prison so your comment only prooves you are not a experienced dog owner. Now you know.

My dog is my child she has free reign in the house when we are home and not because she is respectful of everthing. She sleeps in our beds. She goes where we go. She has her own bed and chill spot. Had a cage for her puppy training/timeout spot but havent used it since 4yrs. I treat her human like and ill bet shes far more itelligent than this dog and millions like her

+demas22 You dont get the point. There is no difference between your dog sleeping in the bed at daytime or a dog sleeping in a open cage. I dont believe in time out for dogs. Maybe it works with human children. If the dog does something bad. Tell him no and when you see that the word no sinks in, change the dogs focus on something good instead. A dog is not a child and should not be treated att such. Humans and dogs are different species. Our mind, acts and bodylanguage is not the same. Treat your dog as a dog. That doesnt mean it is less worth or that you should love it less. I love my animals more than anything but I know the difference between me and them. I have to treat them in a way that they can understand. Not the other way around. My dogs cage is never closed, just making that clear.

i’m sorry to hear about that. i totally agree with you though, they seem so easy to connect with, don’t they? my grandpa and uncle had pit bulls together, rocko and chaos were their names and as scary as they sound they were so sweet, i was young when they were alive, the last memories i have of them i was probably 9. chaos was an ear nibbler and we used to say it’s because he misses his lol, my grandpa rescued him from dog fighting, they had cut his ears way too short, and he frequently got sick from ear infections :( rocko was just a sweetheart and had to be in your lap 24/7. due to family issues we weren’t in contact when both of them passed.

I used to sing "you picked a fine time to leave me lucille" to my dog Lucy. She would rock back and forth with eyes getting heavier and heavier until she fell asleep. It was always a fun party trick. I miss her so much. 😢😢😢

After reading your post I was taken back to my departed pet family that I have lost over the years. I'm nearly 70 now and I remember them all. The loss can be strong and deep as any family member.
