Anticon was such an major part of my life especially in highschool, and sole man, there music helped me especially when I wanted to due some suicidal shit to myself, there music always helped me wonder, and even if it didn't make sense to me , i made it make sense to me, maybe that's one of the reasons why I pushed away from suicide, literally there music always made me wonder, I'm glad it did especially during highschool lol I think having Sole is a must If a KZbin channel should start on anticon I believe it should be you guys , you bring a vibe to us subscribers where even here at home I feel I can talk to you guys for hours , that's how powerful you make me feel here

There was a magical energy around the start of the Anticon label. There was a real unity and vision. Changed everything, even if most people slept on it. Still think Selling Live Water is one of the true unsung masterpieces in Hip Hop history. Changed my life.

Sole didn’t decline the deal over wanting dj Premier, his uncle was his manager & told Tim (sole) it was a crappy deal & Tim still wanted to sign… His Uncle declined the offer & it upset sole for awhile.

Always put a sour taste in my mouth how swollen member used that sample many years after one of the most influential hiphop albums ever "Endtroducing" by DJ Shadow used the sample first. Like Concise, the guy that produced the beat should of known that, re-arranged the chops or done something rather than the Exact same loop.

Just discovering your channel. It's hard to take the guy's opinion about Atmosphere seriously when... [1.] he's wearing his baseball cap backwards, [2.] he keeps incorrectly calling the album "Seven Travels" (the album's title is Seven's Travels), and, [3.] he incorrectly refers to Epitaph Records as a "major label." Epitaph Records is a legendary INDEPENDENT label ran by Brett Gurewitz. He famously REFUSED TO SELL HIS COMPANY TO MAJOR LABELS in order to keep putting out interesting music by punk rock bands, singer-songwriters, rappers, rap groups, etc.
