This episode showed me that women don’t listen to comprehension when men speak! We tend to listen to respond which is our downfall. Ish was dropping gems & he was met with combativeness & defense. If we want the honest opinions & povs from men, we HAVE to listen & digest the information. If the information that is given triggers you, there’s inner work to be done.

Great show , first time checking in . To answer the question “ when did women become so materialistic?” . I think women have always been vanity driven , it’s in their DNA since the beginning of time . The difference between the past and now is , it’s a dealbreaker now . Not having trinkets and living the life of luxury is bringing on severe insecurities , depression , and or bad attitudes in today’s women . Now that comes from decades of marketing pushing that luxury in your face .

I was curious of this the other and googled some things. A survey revealed women spend on average $877 a year on their appearance. More specifically from another article, it stated black women spend $7.5 Billion on beauty care annually; which is crazy considering the nature and history of beauty and fashion industry. Another survey points how men do like women with makeup, just not in excess. When it comes to plastic surgery, ive seen both sides described. I think the disconnect is what we think the intent is behind consuming such media, product and services. And the despite the conversations, both men and women have made dating choices against their own interests. Personally, Ive seen it more with women, both in real life and on social media, and despite it being said they do it for themselves, they still somehow blame men, just like how men blame women for “hoeflation”. Both sides are making choices that perpetuate that issue we have beef with. And nobody really wanna change or do the work to contribute to actual solutions.
