Sad to hear that Wagakki Band is going on an indefinite hiatus after 2024. So this is probably the last year of this wonderful band with the line-up they have today.

We would like to inform you that as of December 31, 2024, Wagakki Band will suspend its activities indefinitely and the eight members will focus on their individual activities. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone at Shin Yaeryu who has supported Wagakki Band, all the fans, and everyone involved who has supported us. Starting around the fall of 2022, we have held numerous discussions regarding the future activities of the Wagakki Band, involving all members, individuals, and related parties. The eight members came to the conclusion that they should take a break from their activities as a Wagakki band, enrich each member's activities, improve themselves as artists and musicians, and then return again. Our answer was, ``When the eight of us stand on stage, we will deliver even more wonderful music from Wagakki Band to the world than ever before.'' This year, Wagakki Band will be celebrating their 10th anniversary since their debut. Before each of the eight members begins their activities, we believe that it is our top priority to convey our gratitude to all the fans who have supported Wagakki Band for the past 10 years. We have decided to suspend our activities as a musical instrument band. We hope that everyone at Shin Yaeryu, fans, and related companies will understand that we have decided to make this announcement. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported Wagakki Band, and we would like to express our gratitude to all of our loved ones during this milestone 10th anniversary of our debut, and until the time of the band's hiatus. We would like to deliver it. We look forward to your continued support and encouragement for Wagakki Band."
