The pattern of the love bombing, moving onto the devaluation makes much sense with the explanation that my ex-narc was testing me, seeing how much I would endure, and I ended up serving myself up on a silver platter to him. Eventually the discard came, but true to form he started to reach out again verbalizing his mistakes; however, only a short amount of time passes after each revelation he gives me to see that he is still the rotten person he is, and that he never meant anything he said. It has become much easier not to communicate back to him & continue to put my life back together.

I'm really glad to hear that you've recognized those patterns and are finding the strength to move on. It’s empowering to see through the manipulation and prioritize your own healing. Your journey is inspiring, and it’s great that you’re focusing on rebuilding your life. Thank you for sharing your insights!

A little story: while I lived with my ex she bought a really expensive microwave combi oven and made the mistake of burning some bread in it. As it was new and expensive I suggested taking it back to the shop to see if the shop could do something for us as it shouldn’t have overheated the item to the extent that it had. She however suggested that we just bin it and purchased a new one, without a second thought. It was a red flag as to her thinking and how nothing has any value and everything can just be quickly discarded

I had a Neighbor who hated me when I first moved in because I had two noisy kids, they didn't like kids. One day his wife came home late from work and didn't buy any food. And there was nothing to eat because it was dark. And he came to my house and asked me for food and I gave it to him, and from that day on they didn't hate me anymore.

Why the Narcissist is so charming and magnetic?, I cant understand that because usually you can see sadness on broken people faces. Can somebody answer that.❤
@susanvonstehling768616 күн бұрын
Regardless of the smile on his face or his charismatic gestures, I began to realize that I saw sadness in his eyes. His sad eyes and other facial expressions were always a mismatch.
@NarcPedia16 күн бұрын
Great question! Narcissists often exude charm and charisma as a way to attract and manipulate others. This behavior can mask their inner insecurities and sadness, making them seem magnetic. Their ability to be charming is often a tactic to gain control and validation from those around them. It’s important to look beyond the surface to see the true dynamics at play.

High value church couple , who worked tirelessly thru Covid with maximum shut downs and restrictions, recently going thru a divorce , I was devastated , but my wife Narc who goes to Church everyday , her reaction was “ it happens and is very common” I said these guys gave their 4 years thru Covid .. she had no empathy of someone divorce from EX- church people since they don’t hold that position anymore ..

I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through this. It's heartbreaking when someone we care about shows a lack of empathy, especially during tough times. It sounds like you're navigating a lot right now, and it's important to surround yourself with supportive people who understand. Keep focusing on your healing!

Remember they also has the victims who the narcissist has put on the shelf for future hoovering
@NarcPedia18 сағат бұрын
Absolutely, that's a key point! Narcissists often keep others on the sidelines, ready to manipulate when it suits them. It's crucial to recognize this pattern and prioritize your own healing and boundaries. Thank you for sharing that insight!

It resonates. The problem is, I was as bad as her in the past. That makes me think she and I are Twin Flames. I still love her and feel compassion towards her…
@NarcPedia16 күн бұрын
It’s insightful that you can recognize your own past behavior and connect with her on that level. Twin Flames often reflect each other's strengths and weaknesses, which can lead to deep compassion and understanding. Healing is a journey for both of you, and it’s great that you’re approaching it with love and awareness. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
