I don't think the writer knows the definition of "Sentient" . . .the bear, the snake, pet cats, mice, chickens . .are all sentient beings . .they are self aware, have a sense of self preservation, have a sense of rearing children, recognize their own species. . . they all evolved on a class 13 death world.

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"; I prefer David Gerrold's "What doesn't kill you makes you makes you weaker for the next thing.". Not as well known as the 1st one but more likely than the scribblings of a 19th-century German shut-in!

quite often it's this too: "what doesn't kill you makes you weirder' a Joker quote that is quite apt if you consider frontline soldiers with PTSD for example, or survivors of natural disasters. Some of these things change you forever and because most of us doesn't get the chance to experience it for ourselves, these experiences will make you an outlier or just weirder than the average Joe.

The male / female AI voice change would have been more effective, if Alara was voiced by the female AI, and the aliens' and narrators' voices by the male AI.

"BUT WAIT! There's more!" Elara said for the 72nd time. Her voice dropping to an almost conspiratorial level. If it gets dropped again it will disappear completely. and many more instances of repeated phrases and don't forget the duplicated sentences. HIRE A HUMAN NARRATOR.

Another good story ruined with that one sentence “oh, you sweet, summer child” FOR THE LOVE OF WHATEVER GOD YOU BELIEVE IN (or don’t believe in) STOP USING THE SENTENCE!!! Please!!!

The problem with AI narration is its inability to properly divide sentences, make pauses in the dialogue at the proper time and its mispronouniation of words. It destroys a potentially good story. Thanks for trying not, nah.
