As a fellow cyclist, do you see the high visibility clothing hes wearing? you dont expect someone to drive 3 meters ahead of you and then turn also, theres a "no left turns" sign right in front of him, why would anyone make a left turn right in front of him? should he have paid more attention to the emergency vehicle? ofc, but we dont have mirrors like the moped, i would also have hugged the side of the road and assumed they would pass me, similarly, i dont check both ways on 1 way streets, i dont expect anyone to come from the wrong way.
@2nd_Directorate2 жыл бұрын
@@the_great_magicman1877 Emergency vehicles do not have to abide by the rules of traffic during an emergency call (indicated by the subtle light and siren). That is common knowledge. You have to stop usually and clear the road if an emergency vehicle is close by. To every cyclists surprise, they have to follow the same rules as everyone else. And please watch it again, unless our cyclist here has an unexplained mass and momentum overcharge, he could have stopped in time. He just was so friggen full of himself, like oh so many cyclists. Oh and btw, you allways check both ways, doesn´t matter what type of street. You learn that in the first years of school.
