They were cretins, but he was not defending himself or anything else. He was criminally damaging a car because it was on 'his land'. That's all this was: someone claiming land as 'theirs'. All he had to do was call the police. The jury let him off because they sided with him - but both sides had broken the law. That's the problem with jury trials - people are clueless.

I'd usually agree but after the cable companies came thru burying fiber in my area cut my municipal water lines twice in not so sure. I heard they told the utilities that it was easier to pay the fines and let the county come fix the water service. Don't get me wrong I love my 250mbs internet but the sand sucked into my lines cost $1,700 in damages so far in just my house. Toilets overflowing in the middle of the night. Showers and faucets running constantly and every time you think it over anther fixture starts up. That's just one house in a huge area. Must be big money in burying cable.

Though I would say--no I would never do that to a child, especially not one that young. I was about 5 when I begged for hot and spicy...and I actually manned up---even though I was on fire, I asked for more and didn't give in to the pain. FYI, if you're ever stuck in a safe, don't keep messing with it, or you'll be timed out. Even in the very unlikely scenario the worker has the right code and has any idea how to open the thing anyway, you'll have to run out of air for however long until it resets. Is there an emergency key? Not that most workers have any idea about.
@leannsmarie

This particular brand's safes all start out with the same code. Whoever buys one is supposed to change it. (We just bought one) They come with two keys though. The floor model's keys should be kept by the store staff to send with the safe once purchased.

As a fellow cyclist, do you see the high visibility clothing hes wearing? you dont expect someone to drive 3 meters ahead of you and then turn also, theres a "no left turns" sign right in front of him, why would anyone make a left turn right in front of him? should he have paid more attention to the emergency vehicle? ofc, but we dont have mirrors like the moped, i would also have hugged the side of the road and assumed they would pass me, similarly, i dont check both ways on 1 way streets, i dont expect anyone to come from the wrong way.

@@the_great_magicman1877 Emergency vehicles do not have to abide by the rules of traffic during an emergency call (indicated by the subtle light and siren). That is common knowledge. You have to stop usually and clear the road if an emergency vehicle is close by. To every cyclists surprise, they have to follow the same rules as everyone else. And please watch it again, unless our cyclist here has an unexplained mass and momentum overcharge, he could have stopped in time. He just was so friggen full of himself, like oh so many cyclists. Oh and btw, you allways check both ways, doesn´t matter what type of street. You learn that in the first years of school.

@@tkps I figured it was simple ribbing. Like shit talking with friends. She's mildly embarrassed so she shit talks to distract from it, was my assumption. I thought this kind of thing was normal for most people, but maybe it isn't. Of course, it's possible she legitimately thought her husband and daughter were idiots, but it doesn't seem that way to me.

22:40 It's cringe inducing to listen to a guy who probably thinks sitting at a desk all day is "hard work" berate a work crew for an inevitable mistake. Just hearing the guys voice makes it immediately apparent that he's never once exerted himself for more than 30 seconds or accomplished anything physical. Go back to your anime and mind your own business, dude. Mistakes happen in the real world when people actually do productive things.

@@cj_giron7259 agreed, water lines, underground electrical and gas lines are all supposed to be marked out before digging and the depth is also marked. It could be that it is his fault for digging too deep but either way it isn't a big deal, it would take a few hours work to repair the water line.
