Fedor Vladimirovich Emelianenko[a] (born 28 September 1976) is a Russian former professional mixed martial artist (MMA), sambist, and judoka and politician. Emelianenko was the PRIDE Heavyweight Champion from 2003 to the organisation's closure in 2007, a four-time combat sambo world champion, and two-time Russian national judo bronze medalist, among other championships and accolades. He also competed in RINGS, Strikeforce, M-1 Global, Rizin, and Bellator, and is regarded as the most prominent fighter never to compete in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).Emelianenko is widely considered to be one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, consistently ranked as the top heavyweight fighter from 2003 until 2010, and the best fighter of the 2000s. Emelianenko's career helped popularize the sport of MMA in his home country of Russia after gaining attention in Japan, South Korea, the United States, and worldwide.

Fedor is fearless! And extremely strong minded, he bears pain without a glich, an excelente fighter and he still is a gentleman. He is outstanding from most fighters that see this as brawling and low class.

One of my favorite fighters of all time and a hell of a video. Great job. Fedor was the BEAST! I love hearing the excuses for the losses though. Man up and admit you fought a better opponent. Humility is lacking in this sport except for a select few. I know Frank Mir, and he WAY underestimated this fight. (Hey Frank, Ricos Sarasota, FL still love ya but damn bruh)

Yeah but that paid off in spades Edit-for Chael Sonnen Anyone who gets in the ring with Fedor Emilianenko, especially a natural middleweight, and doesn't bitch out earns respect for life from some very prominent figures that follow MMA. Still. I wouldn't ever get in the ring with Fedor. A jab would break my neck and put me in a coma.
