I’m sooo relieved you said they usually don’t eat as much at this time of year. Ive had my boy Bruce just over a year and he isn’t a big eater as it is, he can be so picky and he’s refusing food atm. just managed to order morioworms to try him on so fab timing for this video :D

It's nice to see how expressive they are, they really seem to be enjoying the food! I've got a corn snake myself, and she only has a handful of expressions, including slowly creeping her head forward when she's curious, pretending she isn't lying with her entire body exposed by staying still, and staring into the endless void for minutes at a time. For now I feel like I've got my hands full -- despite corn snakes being known as one of the easiest snake breeds -- but maybe I'll get a leopard gecko someday. I was gonna get a leopard gecko at first, but I was intimidated by their needs. I don't check out this channel often but even so, I feel I'm getting better acquainted with their needs. It makes it seem less and less daunting

Id suggest crushing the heads before feeding because of what you see in the video. It removes any chance of the worm biting the gecko while its being eaten or in the stomach. I say this from losing one of my beloved gecko boys because the worm caused internal bleeding, AFTER he swallowed it :(

Leopard geckos are so cute aswell 🥺 but unfortunately I am not too keen on the heating or all live insects. I do feed live insects to my crested gecko but not too much. I hate crickets 😫. They are so horrible and disgusting. They jump so much too. When I had frogs I had ten on my floor each night..... I don't want to repeat that 😨

My cat was put to sleep yesterday because he had cancer of the ear. I have never cried so much in my life. I was there with him until he was buried in our garden. I still can't believe it, it all happened so fast and now he's gone. Losing a pet during quarantine is so damn horrible and all I want is comfort and hugs from my friends and family but I can't. Mealworms aren’t healthy for their main diet. They need mainly live crickets or Dubia roaches, with different types of worms for variety.

I had my gecko *stand* on a locust once and *not notice.* She eats locusts instead of crickets because crickets keep getting into the vivarium and chirping, plus she can see them easier. Locusts are the main food, mealworms are in the middle of locusts and treats and occasionally she will eat waxworms and morio worms as treats, although I haven't fed her morio worms for a year.

something similar happened my leopard gecko (lavender) got the super worm by the tail meaning the super worm has an advantage so it turned around and bit her on the nose. dont worry lavender dosent get down without a fight so she ate the superworm and her nose is okay and no blood was drawn
