@20:41 surely KQss AQss AQsx is a standard river shove in his value range given line taken? I guess maybe 50nl is that nitty that you discount these

Whenever I talk about a hand in this way I am talking about the specific opponent. That's what is never clear in these videos. I am not saying KQ and AQ are not value shoves, I am saying this opponent (imho) will not shove those combos for value

I try to watch all of yours and easty's content, there not many between you i havent watched but i would love to be in seat 5 on live table with you and nick in seats 3 and 7( obviously so you two are bang opposite each other and me front row seat), would be worth even dusting off a couple buy ins just for the banter! I know you two have played live and i have watched some of your analysis of yours ( or nicks ) live hands, have you had any meet up games, or are you going to in the near future? If so i am definately interested, as i am sure many others would be too! Obviously nits not welcome though right?

Also this hand at 28:00, do you really have to get stacked here? That isn't a rhetorical question, I honestly don't know. It just feels like you can't value jam the flop because I really don't think worse will continue often enough relative to the times you're being trapped. Because the initial raiser is a pink tag, he's getting paid here because you're assuming he will stack off JJ and TT because he's a whale. But the nit is also in the pot in position and the main reason I don't like the flop jam is because you have to expose your stack before he's taken any action. Let's say you check, the whale bets, the nit folds, now you can put it in against one wider range. But if you check, the whale bets, and the nit jams, now you can probably escape. By jamming you're forcing the whale to fold AK and possibly worse overpairs, you want him to spaz, or put you on big cards and bet his 99 for value. So i guess you have to get stacked, but not in that way. I think. Also this is a small thing but you don't really want to have a club in your hand either if you're going to jam.

The nit here can't have a better hand than us if you ask me. Don't think he 3bets any hands that beat us on that board, nor do I think he ever traps AA or KK when we go three way. Think we have to get stacked, but not sure if shoving is the best play. In saying that, imagine it checking three way and turn is like Ac Interesting hand for sure though

What do you mean when you say you “rolled a 96”
@Weazel19912 жыл бұрын
I use a random number generator (RNG) to help me decide what to do in situations where I want to mix actions. So rolling high / rolling a 96 I tend to favour an aggressive action

You say "the guy always has a 6 when he shoves." You say he's a nit tag. You tagged him before as a nit, now he shoves, you say to yourself, he has a six, then you pray to the gods that he "somehow" has some bluff that you might have if you were in his spot but you're not him, then you call, and you're like "he's not supposed to have that pre." Yet you pay him. If your win rate were 5bb/100, now that's 1260 hands, like 3 hours of work, gone, putting it in with zero equity. You know if the guy is not bluffing enough you have to fold ALL of your bluff catchers ALL the time. If he's bluffing too much you have to call with ALL your bluff catchers ALL the time because you're printing. So why would you *sometimes* call *some* combos based on your mood if you have TAGGED HIM AS A NIT?

Because I have like 300 hands on him. You think that's enough to assume he bluffs 0% of the time? Not to mention, I HAVE TO PLAY CLOSE TO THEORY. If I overfold in these spots, I leave myself exploitable to those who watch who I'm unaware of (a huge % of the pool) Watch the streams and then you might have a better understanding of why I do things. I don't just click call for a laugh do I

@@Weazel1991 If you actually beat the stake level then this is a different conversation. I would start by over-folding the rivers and see if your redline tanks and you face more and more river jams. There has to be some way to determine if they're actually adjusting. How many nits are *only* nits until they see your fold to river jam stat starts to spike, then they start floating turns with air? I feel like most players capable of making that adjustment are not getting the nit tag to begin with.
