This movie is absolutely underrated. I get why it doesn't appeal to everyone, but it's my jam. Glad you appreciate it.

I like how the "Real Ghostbusters" animated series took this type of story and put the devil in a block of ice instead, and it was Venkman's dad that tries to unleash it. It seems like a Lovecraft-ian story but not being restricted to the mythos. Basically the ancient evil one from outer space.

I just don't get it Morgan - you continually produce some of the best 80's content on the KZbins, yet your subscriber count (which should be in the hundred thousand range BARE MINIMUM) seems perpetually stuck. I've never seen anything like it. Have you tried to gently kick the sub counter to see if it'll jar it loose?

I love the suggestion of kicking the subscriber counter, Anad. Maybe I'll try it! :)

I have an unnatural affinity for this movie.

Yeah, me too. There's a lot about it that just appeals to me. It's really good at creating a genuinely menacing, spooky atmosphere.

@@MorganRichter Yes, and the way it drops ideas and leaves them lying on the floor can make for obsessive speculation. For example, is the supernova the anti Star of Bethlehem?
@MorganRichter3 жыл бұрын
@@bfposner Ooo, I hadn't thought of that, but I bet you're right about the supernova!
