I am really looking forward to this. I have the Leibstandarte volumes by Rudolf Lehman and Ralf Tieman complete with accompanied combat maps 42-45. I can tell you where they were practically on a day by day basis. Really want to buy a camper and visit some of these old battlefields. Love this channel my kind of stuff.

My Late Father Survived ww2 Germany under HITLER's regime...He was if I can recall in the HITLERJUGEN...But at that moment ..Germany was losing the War...Apparently he made a Friend who was in the SS Grendier Unit in Eastern Europe..My Father was taken prisoner by the French Forces along with American G.I.'s...And worked in a Mine Camp in France..Later he was released in the 1950's...And sailed to Canada..

My opa fought on the eastern front when he was 16, escaped capture from Russians and ended up with a ss company, I can thank them for getting him to Austria so he could surrender to the Americans
