I lost my husband to Covid pneumonia September 11 and to beat it all my 2 year old grandson that came to visit was the one that brought it to our home. I’m so broken. I don’t see why I almost lost my daughter and did lose my husband just from trying to get to see my grandson that I only see once a year. We didn’t even think about Covid for the first time since it began. I just don’t understand. My husband was such a godly man trying to lead everyone to God. Wet love to worship together. I feel like I’m being punished for something that I don’t understand. I was abused by my first husband and second and I finally had the one that was wonderful to me. Served God with me and all. I don’t see how there could be a better plan for me. I just wanted someone to grow old with or at least a little older. I’m only 47. I watch you every night before I can sleep. It is comforting but I still feel so lost and broken. Please pray for me.

I discovered my calling when I read the "Purpose Driven Life" book back in 2009 (I read the Portuguese version). Since then, I've been blessed by Rick's sermons, and today I share God's message in the English idiom in São Paulo-Brazil. Through the International Relations Ministry that I am part of, I met my wife, who serves God with me in the same calling. Undoubtedly, His plans are good, pleasant, and perfect. When I was diagnosed with aortic dissection and abdominal aortic aneurysm suffering excruciating pain all the while on the stretcher in the ER, I too could not understand why, God, why....why....the 3 surgeons say my chances of getting through is slim only 25%. And the grim look on their faces did not help things either. I though what I feared most, waiting to die while in pain was coming true. But one and half years later, my condition has improved so much that hope is beginning to form inside me. All this while my only medicine was one pain reliever and listenining to God's word daily, praying daily and ridding my old habits one by one. Plus a few close friends praying for me. Day in and out the routine was the same, conversing with my Heavenly Father, God His Son and God the Holy Spirit and everytime the devil attacked, I got closer and closer to my Lord instead of further. Thanks be to God, I am beginning to see a ray of hope in the distance and I pursue straight on to my objective.

I immersed myself focusing on setting plans this year. I took plans on my own I depend on my own strength and capabilities I was so obsessed. I was freaking out of all the changes happened. I didn't listen to God and give him the oppurtunity to speak to me. Thank you pastor Rick for the message although it's my first time to listen to you. It's indeed a sublime message.
