I worked as a substitute teacher for a school district for 2 years. I loved those kids. The parents loved me. They even wrote to the superintendent saying so and asking the school to hire me permanently. After that the school gave me an interview for a permanent position and then hired someone else. It has been a real punch in the gut. I am moving on.
