Superman’s a mixed bag since he’s been around for so long, as a kid I didn’t like him but now I have a respect for it. Some of his stories are peak, and some others are the worse fiction has to offer it’s a mixed bag. Like the Justice league series is some of the best Superman stuff, for one the whole league would regularly get hands put on them. And in one episode I rewatched recently Green lantern wanted the squad to train and Superman was taking all the hits and getting beat up from the training. And the other heros were like “Why you getting up pieced up so much big bro we supposed to be a squad”, and Superman was just like “Y’all aren’t built like me, I gotta take the heavy hits”. Honestly the Justice league and Justice league unlimited animated shows are some of the best media dc has anywhere.

What kills me from DBZ fans, is how they go gaga over them lame azz karate moves Goku be doing. On some "oooh, he moon walked...." Like so what? None of that sh1t even effected Superman. If you watch the actual vid, youll see Supes basically shrugging everything off. He was basically slap boxing Goku the entire time, & only had to power up once, while Goku had 3 or 4 power ups, & still couldnt keep up. Remember, this is the 3rd fight, & Supes brutalized Goku in the first 2. This was his 3-peat. Goku has nothing for Superman.

3:04 You are comparing their character in an incorrect way. Dragon Ball is all about fighting, so of course Goku must be challenged. Superman’s stories are not about fighting, so you should not be reading/watching them because you want to see him grow as a fighter. For example, Smallville was about Clark accepting himself, his identity, and getting over his insecurities and fears. Superman & Lois is about family. It’s never about how great he is at fighting. Saying that Goku is a better character because he can be challenged in a fight is irrelevant because Superman’s challenges are not about fighting. It’s usually about choices, morals, ethics, etc.

Not true. Vegeta would absolutely wait for Superman to reach his full charge and then get body by Supes. And I say this as Vegeta is my favorite character. He's foil in almost every arc is that he lets his pride get the best of him and allows his enemies to reach full strength and then gets destroyed by whomever he underestimated. Honestly the only difference between Goku and Vegeta in this aspect is that Goku will actually win sometimes.

Scru... Laser vision from superman is like a touch from zeno, you are NOT walking that shit off. He hasn't contexed with multiversal beings with just his laser vision. Superman is buuuuusted. Also, Kryptonite is a non-issue for supe sometimes, hes literally ignored it before during a fight, he's shaken the multiverse, rewound time, etc, etc. To best explain superman, he is a paragon, he is DESIGNED to always succeed so he can inspire, and his power reflects that, he is the strongest in the justice league because he is the paragon of the league. Goku is designed to train and to always grow to struggle to get stronger, and his power reflects that, he is not the strongest in his verse, which is by design. Superman isn't a worse character, his struggle just isn't supposed to come solely from fighting, but emotional stress, trying to inspire people, etc.
