Exactly... Why I see this as his way of stating... "Do not let it happen, again.".. "This is what you're up against.".. "Always, be ready, to protect, what's been sacrificed, for us - even, today... To preserve a world, where folks can learn, and live - the art of kindnesses. Such, be why why I must add... Back to basics... Our gigantic loophole is that "civil-defense" can not, and must not be - only - another Gov Agency...(FCDA... OCD... FEMA... DHS.). All are born into it. Note the definition of "civil" So, to fix both, since We need both - working well. FEMA states, "civil-defense is emergency management." And, the older FEMA - "OCD" stated, that "active and passive civil-defense are integral to national security [demos-cracy] posture." Respectfully... "We...." are missing, that most important "strategy." "We..." - [the humans] - got lazy. Noting earlier times... ... The "formal" musters, were where they managed crucial issues, with voice and vote - and action - too; as well as, their neighborhood incident management practice, and organized deployments, to establish responsible liberty. Such gatherings - when they seemed to be getting better at it - were where demos-kratia/ demos-cracy... .......... Thrived...!...?????? Especially, when, a "quorum" of folks were required to gather/muster (or, be fined),... when, some member/members, of a family were represented - as necessary - to fill an assigned security "post" / "position", as part of their neighborhood incident management capabilities. Thusly, to bring pieces of old systems, into a 21st century context... ... by using a neutral / objective liaison / logistics non-profit matrix NGO... ... with, Chapters... Possible... Everywhere... Around the world...!!!!!! For servicing - areas - through EOCs... To mechanize the demos-cracy... To empower "democracy"... Within an "indirect republic." Through a system built for it. ... Built into educational systems... ... Degrees, Internships, In-service... ... For 24 / 7 / 365.... For consolidating and coordinating... (Something like the ARC, in organizational structure, without duplication of Her services... While, actually becoming Her assets... If, and as, needed... ... So, redundancies... ... As, an arbitration platform ... as "active and passive civil-defense are integral to national security [democracy] posture" (OCD/FEMA). (Noting the Sw*ss template - for instance - built into a republic.. ... As, "support, systems, and services"... ... To those, who serve, in our stead..). ... But, on our terms, in an NGO... ...... In, a democracy. ...... With, chosen leaders. ... Since, "We.........." has no borders or boundaries...!...? So, to draw out demos-cracy... ... and, to confront ignorance... ... with professionally mustered truth. (Food, water, shelter, shielding, security, suffrage, education, infrastructure, environment, liaison, logistics, tech,... ... leadership / republic-maintenance! ... For, governing Government s.). So, to map out our "indirect"/republic s. So, to vet those, who serve in our stead.... - Public servants - Public employees - Personnel - representatives - Facilities - Systems - Equipment - Suppies -........ From, behind, a Desktop Icon... "DES-SSS" ... "Disaster and Emergency Service"--- ...---"Support, Systems, and Services." ...(Note: Labeling accuracy is imperative; so, to match the Goal, Mission, Objectives... .. "To protect life and property." (FEMA). ... In my words... ... To protect life, responsible liberty, accountability, happiness, and a sense of "home", for living the art of kindness.). Using... Our matrix NGO... ... Labeled, to get us through the doors.... ... In the justifiable name of "civil-defense", which must not be - only - another Government Agency, as FCDA / OCD / FEMA / DHS...! You - ALL - are "civil-defense." You are born, a "member." Whether you like it, want it, or not. This is our only way of using that - "human / civil right.?" A - potential - system... If we build it correctly. Even, by-the-book (EMI/NETC/FEMA). With one - crucial - adjustment...! ... We build our secondary manual backup system... ... as a matrix NGO... ... as opposed... ... to it being built - from taxes - as another "arm of Gov." [ I'm tapping this into an old phone, so please give me a break?] Our matrix NGO "Operations Section"... (Which functions with all NGO Sections... ...We are Her "crew.") However, This needs champions. "Disaster and Emergency Services"...--- ...(Gov. / Republic version)--- ...---"Support, Systems, and Services"... ...("We..." - the humans... NGO.) With - Matrix NGO "Projects"... ... With "Sub-Projects"... ... With "Missions".... (Who, what, when, where, which, why, how...). Noting... For supporting, our "White Hat" personnel... For vetting our... ... "Public servants" ... "Employees" ... "representatives" ... "personnel" ... Services ... Facilities ... Equipment ... Supplies ......... So, to mechanize and empower demos-cracy ... within a republic. Using, our "emergency / disaster / distress... management system"... So, to "mirror" up aside - to maintenance - a republic.. As our loophole through every door... Professionally! ... As, legally earned/permitted authority. For comprehensive contingencies-management capabilities... And, for far better... ... neighborhood management ... neighborhood incident management capabilities... Noting... Watch... PBS: pt 2... ... "H*lf the Sky"... FET ... [Vets...!...]. (Female Engagement Teams) ... Here, at "home." ... Put this, in FET - Vets' hands. ....And, kids, too. And, for hints, watch: "Meet John Doe" ... (Gary Cooper / Barbara Stanwick). [Mix the possibilities, while all individuals must be included, as a member, thereof - while noting, any conflict of interest can be noted, in the system, in context... ... For instance - pay raises - for Gov personnel...? ... While, still having voice and vote, regardless, the issue.]. A matrix NGO... ... with FET Vets, doing what they know, in neighborhoods...!!...??? This needs champions, like you, getting it operational... And, to watch over it, to assure, it is "well regulated." By... The 4th.... Labor... Xmas...?????...!!! Standing by....... So when she and Steve were dancing, they are supposed to be dancing by candle light. Or gaslight. Not by electric light. So, you may criticize that neither candles nor gaslights will not give that much light. But you cannot say they were using electric light as you are wrong.

Ocar the Barbarian that’s true but Hollywood being bias liberals has more to do with it.

@@lance8080 I don't know what being liberal has to do with supporting the troops. I am a democrat and donate to the veterans relief fund every year.

A nice oldie, but listed as '1958', while the intro shows '1957'. A minor error.

And here i thought Chuck Norris saved AMERICA! It was Bronson all along.

Hell seemed to take a very long time break loose. Otherwise a decent B movie with an excellent support cast and Bronson doing fine in his first starring role.

From an email I sent to my friend earlier today. I had never heard of this movie until I discovered it five hours ago while searching You Tube (See Below) I decided to check it out and was immediately engaged. Half hour into it was a scene that to me screamed, "Obviously Martin Scorsese not only had seen it, but was greatly influenced by it". Since I'm not some unappreciative "schmuck on wheels" I immediately sent you this email to cover the vig. .For I do believe fervently believe this: Goodfellas - Morrie gets whacked kzbin.info/www/bejne/m53VepaDjZishKs was begat by that: When Hell Broke Loose War Drama 1958 Charles Bronson, Violet Rensing & Richard Jaeckel kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmHdaX6ujdiqp7M I reckon you will agree within two minute of watchin' the movie from the point I cued it up. I reckon it will be as obvious to you as it was to me: It reckon it will get you attention within thirty seconds, after you get the same vague impression and realize it is obvious this "hero" also got whacked in the head with an ice pick, just like Morrie. Like me, once your suspicions are satisfied a minute later, when you immediately realize Joe Pesci obviously plays the "Morrie gets whacked" scene in homage to Charles Bronson subsequent reaction. Knowing now what you didn't know then, you will go back and watch the scene again but with a different mindset, like I did. And like me, you will realize it obvious is. It will be obvious to you, because like me, you are no "schmuck on wheels" I included the following comment after first I posted it to begin a thread at "Bill James Onlne:". Prequel to "The Dirty Dozen." I reckon most of us have seen "The Dirty Dozen." It is one of my favorite movies. Today I was in the mood to watch some film noir, something I hadn't seen. I searched You Tube to find something I'd never seen staring any of my favorite actors. The other day I posted of "The Clockwork Yellow" Simpson parody. boards.billjamesonline.com/sh...l=1#post248833 I later showed it to a friend which led to a discussion of Stanley Kubrick films. My personal favorite is "Dr. Strangelove." In rhapsodizing about the brilliance of Peter Sellers, I told my friend that Sellers had previously worked with Kubrick in "Lolita." This in turn led to a discussion of the great James Mason. When I stumbled onto an early James Mason effort, "One Way Street"(1950), I checked it out. It was trite and limited, not one of his best. Although Mason's performance was wooden and his perpetually pained expression screamed "who do I have to phuck to get out of this movie?" his talent was evident under it all. After a half hour I had seen enough, so I checked what else was available. I ran across this one I had never heard of, filmed in 1958. Besides starring the great Charles Bronson, it co-starred one of his fellow actors in "The Dirty Dozen." I had to check it out. Although it was listed as a "War Drama," I had no idea what it was about when I started watching. It was engaging from the get-go. In less than ten minutes it was apparent this was the backstory of my favorite of the dozen, Danny, who is so obsessed by baseball every Rosack image reminds him of the National Pastime. "This is a prequel to the 'Dirty Dozen'" I thought. We have discussed the film on site before, so I thought I'd post it to share.
