As an inspiring chef currently in culinary school, I think the thermometer is not an issue. Blue team is constantly sending out food cooked wrong, then there is a temperature issue. Using a thermometer to verify the chicken is done right is the smart thing to do. Why continue to do the wrong thing when getting it right is so easy to do with the right tool.

I’m confused as to how using a meat thermometer is considered cheating?? That’s how you make sure to rest/cook the meat further, hence why it’s in the mf kitchen?? That’s one of many ways to ensure proper temp🙄

Have you EVER watched this show? Every single season has at least 1 person who's not a chef. They've had nannies, a landscaper once, this blogger. As long as they enter and pass some basic cooking tests they are eligible to be selected. The network loves those people mainly for the drama they might cause for not being actual chefs. Then let's talk about using the same "story" at ;east twice in almost every video you make.
