What makes me mad is that Ramsey comes saves these restaurants and these owners refuse to let their ego down causing their own downfall.

And putting the blame on Gordon Ramsay like Amy and Sammy did. Though honestly, I’m not sure what draws Gordon to these doomed restaurants unless he’s being informed by maybe one of his own customers that go to these places to inform him the situation that perhaps he can help to thrive.

A good amount of these restaurants were already on the way out, no amount of help could have helped them. The very few who did listen to Gordon, closed shop shortly after. With that being said, there are still restaurants that rose from the ashes.

They contact the studio and ask for help. If selected, they can get the place modernised, Gordon's years of experience and mega publicity. Of course if they don't follow the 'recipe' for success that Gordon gives, then the failure is on them. But yes, they must write in to Gordon. @@niana1975

To be fair, if the losing party has to cover all the fees, there's no need for the KN-crew to do so. Because the existing contract should cover their legal bases and they have no obligation to tell a grown adult, they're about to throw away their lives (and probably their families as well ) in a ludicrous court battle over basically laziness and an inability to read what your signing.

They have tried but I don't think anyone has won, most of the cases were about how he ruined their image and they lost money, dont think any of them won those but Gordon won at least one case I know of... he sued someone for libel and won over the rotten scallop from bonapartes
@normturner48495 ай бұрын
Of course he is covered. His financial advice doesn't just come from Ramsey's head. It is from financial planners bc although Ramsey runs his restaurants, he is not an expert in turning around failing restaurants bc his places don't fail. Just like he is not an interior decorator or designer. He does say 'his team' goes to work modernising and repairing/replacing interiors. His forté has always been the kitchen. I believe he does come up with the new menus and food design but he alone does not cook all the dishes you see just past the middle, for the staff to try. I often wonder about wether all those dishes of food have been in a baemarie bc when the staff are invited to taste new menu, surely most are getting cold fast. It probably still tastes great. It is GR food after all. A pity so many losers return to their old ways and fail.
@hamoostaffat5 ай бұрын
@@normturner4849 tbf Ramsey has always been open about his failings, football, failed in his home town and don't forget the whole in-law thing Just gotta keep getting up and surrounding yourself with a support network and listening to those people, that was the biggest problem with KN and HH... people who ask for help from someone and then ignore that helping thinking they know better even after admitting needing help are generally not worth your time, sadly that was the consensus Gordon came to and ended it I will say I don't think his "behind bars" gets enough attention, crudely shot and edited as a show but some of the things to come out of it behind the scenes off the screen is pretty cool ✌️

If you ever wondered what a real clinical Borderline Personality Disorder looks like, with or without histrionic deflection strategies, look no further than Amy's Baking Amy. Nothing has changed or improved. The image on her current social media is of herself at about 6 years old...most likely the photo having been taken the very same day her mother refused to let her separate, individuate, and then become her own healthy little Amy-person. I would LOVE to explore Amy's childhood with her. I'm looking at Amy's mother as the #1 reason that woman is so incredibly lost. Ok, FACT, first case was NOT from Kitchen Nightmares. Peter's was owned by the parents who named it after him, it didn't belong to the sister even though she did ALL of the boss work.

Which owner(s) should get a second chance? Good question. Perhaps the new management at the Vermont establishment should get a second chance, considering the ownership changed and service is much better than it was under the former management (at least that was my understanding after watching this video). As for the other ex-restaurant owners and chefs, I can only wish them the best with their future endeavours. Like other KZbinrs, I don’t feel they’ve taken anything valuable from Chef Ramsay’s guidance. All of them were in denial when confronted by Ramsay, and most of them were downright defensive and narcissistic. I mean, if you don’t want help and you have no desire to change, why waste Chef Ramsay’s time and his resources? He could put that time toward helping people who are genuinely in need. My two cents. If only these owners were Hallmark movie characters. In Hallmark movies the main character wants so badly to open HER own restaurant. If only she had an investor. WOW!! She gets her investor and opens her restaurant. It’s ALWAYS a tremendous success and they all live happily ever after.

The only one that I know is is still open that was on the show was Pantaleone’s and wouldn’t you know… it’s because they listened to his advice and they actually used his work to improve themselves

Ramsay's production team knew who to select for this series, the worse the owners were the bigger the shows audiences, nice little earner for Ramsay.

Haha it totally explained everything when he said he was deported back to israel... it is The megacenter of places where bosses think they can grow horse balls. I worked for a few "sammy"s like this, so i know for personal experience. If they all get bankrupt, the workers would have a bit more chances to get decent bosses, and the customers - for better food.
