Well, for the sake of the protagonist and I don't see a problem, since he found a good girlfriend/wife who supported him practically in everything and who even made him not give up his dream of being a good manager when he was going to throw in the towel and quit.

And for the hotel manager who had discarded the protagonist's cake without tasting it without any consequences? The girl lectures Iburu about treating her clients and collaborators and then she has that manager at home who behaved in an unprofessional and prejudiced manner? It would have had to be someone she had full trust in to have asked him to act on her behalf for that choice. If she had not intervened there is a risk that she would have chosen a totally inadequate cake.

It was simply a moment to make her look good, don't take it seriously, leaving aside the video, who says that the FMC would not have reprimanded him after that meeting and even more so when it is seen that the FMC is completely in love with the MC, he should have yelled at the venue manager later, in the end all we saw was the protagonist's part.

@@maynorleiva2945 Yes, ok he can be scolded later. But doesn't doing it out of our sight and knowledge make introducing it that way useless? That is a character was needed to prevent the protagonist from recognizing the girl as president. So it was ok to introduce him, but they could have made sure he didn't refuse the proposed cake. They could let the fact that he was hesitant about the simplicity of the dish and while the protagonist was convincing him to try the dish have the antagonist intervene by denigrating the dish and proposing his solution. that way that character would have only the purpose the story need. And It would have been enough to write 2 lines in the next scene (e.g. "After being reprimanded for his behavior, the manager is working hard to repay the trust that the president has given him"). All this from my point of view. Which doesn't necessarily mean it's the right one or what others might agree with. A personal point of view to suggest any possible improvement in the stories.
