Thanks Mercuzio! It is indeed much more difficult to play than video may suggest. It sounds easy, but a glimpse at the sheet music made me go "wohhh...hold on a second" and then finally when trying to play it and getting it to actually sound nice I felt like "wtf" 🙂 PS: Are you back to arranging more regularly? It'd be a great a loss to have you quit!

I understand :) Even though I haven't tried to play most of your arrangements, those I tried were all great, especially in terms of adding secondary melodies etc while still remaining very faithful and true to the original. Ich erinnere mich noch mit Schrecken an meinen ersten Ragtime als klassischer Pianist 😵🤣 Aber was anderes... Ich verstehe den Sinn nicht von diesen typischen von-oben-auf-die-Finger-youtube Filmen. Für Anfänger, die nicht Noten lesen können, und die mit der Perspektive vielleicht was anfangen können, sind Deine Stücke zu schwer, und jeder, der gut genug spielen kann, um mit einem Tutorial zu dem Stück etwas anfangen zu können, kann mit Videos aus der klassischen Seitenansicht mehr anfangen. Oder nicht?

Ragtimes & co sind auch nicht mein Spezialgebiet, da ich auch aus der Klassik her komme 😎 Bzgl. der Perspektive: Die Topdown Kamera bedient ja nicht nur die, die vielleicht keine Noten lesen können, sondern macht es auch leichter sich Fingersätze, Notenumverteilungen etc abzuschauen...eben alles Dinge, die aus solch einer Perspektive viel ersichtlicher sind als von der klassischen 3rd-Person Kamera. Sind daher auch für Tutorials etc. sehr praktisch. Die ersten solcher Videos auf meinem Kanal sind schon über 10 Jahre alt :-) Später als die Hardware besser wurde etc. habe ich dann auch angefangen Ingameszenen (bei Videospielmusik) etc. in die große "Freifläche" zu integrieren.
