Maple is overstimulated by the robot and this can get exhausting for a cat in this condition. Can’t you put them both downstairs or some other room until it is completed?

I bet he's like "I wish people would just stop touching my tail" lol Maple challenging the robovac was quite entertaining!!! My friend's cat also has a complicated relationship with their automated vac lol. Piko and Maple are so cute ❤❤

Maple can't read your assurances. But it's owner can and reassure the cat for you. Makes no difference to the cat. The cat is still curious and acting out it doesn't like the robot. In this just for the sake of making a video, leave the cat out of it, for the sake of the cat. Cat's have ways of letting you know it doesn't like something going on in it's house. They can't do as much damage as a dog, but it can come close in the cost of upholstery.
