Uncle Tim has a great rant about eBay, posted within the past day. I never fish in that pond, but still found his perspective worth the time. All I saw in your 20 pack was Wonder Woman Invisible Jets, I think the market is too flooded with those I was _this close_ to attempting to correct you about Dodge Daytonas v Plymouth Superbirds until hopping on to the wiki. The Dodge casting in my head IS a different year from what you showed, the 69 versus the 70, so huzzah for a moment of online restraint. Gotta keep in mind that I don't know everything.

That super bird transport is sweet. Been eye balling that set for a while. Daytonas and super birds are one of the cars I collect almost every one I find. There hideously beautiful.

That is so weird, I'm expecting that Lancia Stratos Team Transport today in the mail. That Superbird Team Transport is so cool! Never seen it before. The Wide Open truck looks like it's supposed to be a late 60s Dodge L700 truck. I'll have to look for that one. 👍

I found 4 of those SKYLINE mystery models at a local Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago ...i thought it was odd , they had about 6 of boxes from 2021 , all the #1 DMC Deloreans were gone but they let all the skylines...

I've always found the Mystery Model cars a slight cut above their mainline counterparts, certainly looking at this year's selections (and last year as well). And I was also with you on the difference between the Superbird v. Daytona until I took a really close look at them side by side: the Daytona casting is a hair longer than the Superbird, with slight differences in the hood and rear end.

Great stuff today. Like the Lancia. Have a thing for rally cars. Super Birds also look great

I was calling it a Delta, it's a Stratos. My only excuses are that it didn't come in the package and I don't know shit about Lancias. ;)

Lancias: That's a Stratos, not a Delta - the Delta is a hatchback. The Stratos HF (not to be confused with the Stratos Zero, a stunning concept car we'll see when HW Premium range Hammer Drop hits shops) was a Bertone design by Gandini, and has the distinction of being the first car specifically built to win rallies. It was light, short and very agile, had a Ferrari engine (the Dino V6) and superb balance, and was immediately successful, winning the WRC Manufacturer's title in 75, '76 and '77. The problem came when FIAT, owners of Lancia, decided they wanted Rallying done by FIAT cars, not Lancia, and pulled the plug on Lancia rally support. Lancia now had a car that was banned from doing what it was designed to do, so they developed the Group 5 version in an attempt to find a use for it, slapping a widebody and ground effect aero on and lowering it with stiff track suspension, and it won in many shorter events, but it wasn't competitive in endurance events and usually lost to Porsche 935s. However it was a cool looking car, and is recognisable even to non-racing fans because it's the vehicle mode of one of the original 1984 Transformers toys (named Wheeljack). That one bears a slight resemblance to a Marlboro-sponsored car, no. 598.

Jesus... I need to stop smoking weed before I shoot these videos. J/K... I don't smoke weed. I don't know how I got Delta in my head.
