Good morning Doug , excellent work getting that tailgate to swing . It's a small but important victory, I'm very happy for you.

VERY NICE Doug! The tailgate swings EXCELLENT. You have to be really proud that you built that thing basically from scratch. I/m very impressed.

Makes my thing of the song Swingin' by John Anderson Glad I stopped by to see you. Great progress. I like the tip about compressed air to keep the welding cool. 🎶 Yeah, and we were swingin' (swingin') Yeah, just a-swinging (swingin') Little Charlotte she's as pretty as the angels when they sang I can't believe I'm out here on the front porch in the swing A-swingin' (swingin) 🎶

Gate looks like no binding or tough spots to force through. Doug take a bow and feel proud of your work. I think that 's what your cat was telling you. Great job great video.
@kevinsukdolak500739 минут бұрын
Well if you can't find a name for this project you can call it the black cat. You can either paint a black cat on each front fender OR you can paint the car black and write the black cat in green on each fender!

It's lookin' good Doug, tail gates are a sought after item on a lot of classic wagons upper and lower, here in Australia early Holden ( GM) wagon and panel van stuff is hard to find and usually not cheap, therefore I fully understand and appreciate your effort in rebuilding this one, I hate to think what a good one costs if you could find one.
@JimMayson8 сағат бұрын
I think what the cat was trying to say is that the gate fits purrrrfect.

It's gonna be a little harder for the cats to go through the Nomad. You need a picture of Nomad sticking his head out the window of the driver's seat. Nomad in a Nomad. Take care

A project that nobody has attempted, that would be a must watch, could be to convert a tri-5 into an electric car. I often wonder what will happen when you are not allowed to use gasoline for the cool Cars
@ImthePaulshouldnotbeallowedtod4 сағат бұрын
Is The next episode going to end up with the outer skin of the tailgate going to force you to do 3 or 4 filler, sanding, more filler, more sanding and primer? . Your finishing skills are masterful and are you also skilled at painting? I'm thinking that you are. People who can do creative projects and also play musical instruments and are able to draw T-shirt design logo's are what I consider myself to be a member of. I've done bondo and sanding in past years and always wanted to learn to weld , but never did. At least I can live it through your work . Thanks again and take care

I Wish I still had a cool car . All I ride is bikes and I still think I'm 18 at 65. I got a mini chopper for 20 bucks that I would like to get going. My buddy said that it was running when he parked it,a couple of years ago. I totally scrubbed it and shined off the rust. It takes gas, has a key and he just gave me the two batteries for it. I looked it up online and the only comp that I could find was about $900. And only 20 Canadian dollars, what's that?, about 16 dollars in American money?
