Fun fact: "herbivore" animals actually do eat meat when it's available. Cows deer etc will eat dead rabbits when they find them. So animals with antlers can eat meat, they just don't actively chase it down themselves.

@Lauzorry La Zorrita :3 😊 algood, i just meant it as a fun fact that not many people know about, not that something in the video was wrong Like if I had commented instead Fun fact: deer shed their antlers once a year! (this is also a real fact btw) I can see how my comment could be misread like arguing against the video though so I get were u coming from

Maybe the jingle sounds are it’s purrs/growls, and when prey hears it it’s too late, or maybe it lures them in or smth, that’d be cool
@damjandimovski62955 жыл бұрын
Ok so here are some names for these hushush: snow charmers or Snow whisperers While I was watching the stream I was thinking about "wind chasers" and they would be really fast maybe. And here is a idea for their story when these creatures die they leave their tail behind and as the wind blows threw the tail you can hear soft jingles and whispers. It might be dark idk.
@lumeingi5 жыл бұрын
Predators usually have front facing eyes, while prey/herbivores will have eyes that allow them to see in a wide range and ears that can swivel very easily.
@jimboamok32585 жыл бұрын
The winter phantom raptor: when you listen the sound of the jingle bells is too late to escape. Yeah Christmas carol stuff.
What if it's called a Speckled Ice Chimer? I like the idea of chime in its name because it is the sound of bells, but also reminds me of chimeras, another kind of reptilian tailed monster.
@lynix28865 жыл бұрын
this jingling predator is no more than a big house cat
@BelialsCoffin5 жыл бұрын
Technically prey have eyes on the side of its head because they have to look behind themselves So technically it should be a prey animal (Reindeer and Gecko have eyes to the side) the only true predator is an owl (Facing forward) the predator gene is recessive compared to the prey gene

I enjoy the digital drawings. It's nice to see that too. I find both your traditional and digital sketching nice and lovely. All of these design vids are really inspiring. And you are motivating me to go back to trying to do details which I previously dropped for the sake of improving my drawing skills (I used to be way too obsessed with details without paying attention to the foundation of the drawing) I just love the way you draw your animals feet such a _cute "lil" claws_
@AsiramCraven4 жыл бұрын
I recently discovered your channel and have been watching all your Random Creature Design videos and I love how you combine the different animals together. I usually just combine two animals together but now I'm going to try it your way because it looks really fun. The first time I used a random animal generator it gave me a emu and coral, it didn't really turn out great but now I'm going to redo it since I like the weird combination but they're are so many species of corals to choose from or I could just turn it into a coral reef emu.

I don't know if this is too late or anything but leopard geckos store their nutrients and proteins they get from food in their tail so the bigger the tail the "better" the gecko. So, for a predator such as this one maybe it shows not to mess with them and if they're weaker they have skinner and smaller tails. Or maybe there is a hierarchy based on tail size? Pfft, I dunno just some ideas. As for names, maybe something like Snow Aberrant or that mixed with something else. Maybe people nicknamed it the Jingle of Death, lol.
@abarbienamedken33345 жыл бұрын
14:53 we dont have snow lizards because lizards are reptiles which are cold blooded and needed to be in hotter temperatures to keep themselves alive. Lizards also usually like humidity and winter is dry. They also don't have any wintery protection like fur or feathers to help them survive so it would have to be a fatty warm-blooded lizard which I think breaks the definition of lizard. without the warmbloodedness though the lizard would just go into brumation from the cold.
@BlueElkBlue5 жыл бұрын
i could see these guys being pack hunters and are all about the size of a cat. because they are smaller on there own can get picked off so they shake their tail (the jungle) and fluff up making them seam more threatening.

For some of the cards, if there's a way to do it, you could put them horizontal so the creatures (like this one) don't get squished just because they're long. That might be the best way to show off the whole creature.

name suggestion: spotted whispering fox they used to live up in the Mongolian forests (they are snowy birch forests) and the humans would train and use these small fox like creatures to hunt. there camouflage made them perfect in the snow. As technology got better they were forgotten and now the wonder the forest almost invisible. the locals tell story's of the үнэг шивнэх (üneg shivnekh) who now walk the forest separate from man, but you can still sometimes here them close by, during the night. When the English went to the small town they heard the tale and translated the name directly to whispering fox.

lizards are cold-blooded, so there isn't really lizards in cold climate, however, some can basically shut down their body through the cold and wake up when it's warm and yes there are dinosaurs in the cold, not lizards. more bird-like(though not only avian dinosaurs) many in the cold had fur or feathers
