Goddammit, yeah that was my first playthorough of the series too and I too stared at the screen for 10 or more minutes, in anguish and pissed off, just wanting to tear something apart because OH GREAT SO MY CHOICES AS MC ARE EITHER BE KILLED BY ANDERS OR BY THE HERO OF FERELDEN, THANK YOU SO MUCH GAME XDD. Like I have a sarcastic blond cinnamon roll problem apparently so that is where I ended up too XDD And yeah I killed my Hawke too, because how could I kill off Alistair? Hawke was at least my old character so killing her off seemed at least somewhat thematic and more right than killing a past teammate, but still, eh. It's good on the engagement and gameplay level, but so hard emotionally, it's worse version of Virmire in Mass Effect, I swear. Dragon age everyone, killing us all emotionally since the first game lol.
