Use subs and bombers/naval bombers to sink transports before they'll get to Europe, 10-12 subs + 400 bombers per sea region usually is enough to sink almost everything Allies send to you. Keep one-two small cheap infantry divisions on ports. That's it.

@@1kvolt1978 add some radar or scout planes to those regions will ensure none escape your eye. and the kind of subs being made here could almost go always engage to put the british and american fleets on the bottom without issue, completely eliminating the threat.

You can manually disable supply shairing to your allies on all your supply hubs. This will make your allies move their troops and give you more supply for yourself.

The oberkommando and the italian generals were quite desperate with Rommel's emotional indiscipline and strategic suicides. He then proceeded to throw away the whole front in 1942 and let entire divisions perish in it.

Fun fact, Stalin actually deported the German population that was living in Russia since Catherine the great before the war because he was afraid the germans will join Hitler. So it makes sense :D

I've been trying 2 divisions. 9 Infantry, 3 Artillery, 3 AA with supports Light Tank Recon, Light Flame Tank, Maintenance, Logistics & Signal which I defended Russia with 120 divisions and Fighter only Air which worked really well. Alternatively I did same supports but the divisions was 30w Infantry + 1 Medium fully upgraded SPG and Fighter only support, worked really well and got me multiple achievements and keeping casualties under 1 mil. The problem with full on tank divisions is the supply now just can't support it, supply works better when you combine a little tank in an Infantry division.

If you have air control try using 100-200 transport planes to support tank division supplies. Even after the initial nerf they are still very useful for low supply regions (you just have to keep the suppy where the airfield is up)

i use 21 width 9 inf + 1 arty on the defensive if i can afford it else 9/10 inf , 27 for offensive 9 inf + 3 arty and 44 tanks depending on doctrine 15 tanks - 7 mot/mech for mw , 13 tanks - 9 mot/mech for sf , haven't had much issues other than in places with terrible supply

@@tredbobek Yes if you can put a couple factories on transport planes and trucks over time you can support your organisation recovery, after you get thousands of trucks an a hundred plans you can supply much better. I try to put 50 wings than later 100 supporting an army group and they are actually able to recover organisation in those troubled supply zones like trying to get to Stalingrad. It helps to recruit Soviet spy's to get a collaboration.

Next time you do mass field marshal infantry pushes put in field hospitals in your infantry. That trickle back modifier really adds up quick when every division is in combat.

It's funny how people have different styles of playing. What struck me is this guy's amount of division templates. I literally delete everything and keep three templates for simplicity (though probably not efficiency...) - Infantry, Tanks, Garrison.

this will be fun to see. I have tryed this game but do not understand it at all. Looked in to guides and other videos. When i try this nothing happens untill you try to start a war. After that it takes 2-3 min and everything i have is gone. This looks like a fun game but no ide what i am doing... thx for the videos still like to see you play.

Play Germany to get the hang of things. Shoot to start the war with Poland (through focus) sometime towards the end of 1939. You should have 3 years of buildup. Look at the focus tree and balance the parts under anschluss and autarky as you go. Grab the free territory you can get from Austria, Yugoslavia Don't worry too much about tanks and planes and the navy your first play through. Just focus on getting infantry weapons and support equipment, trucks. Artillery, aa, etc. Then do a game or two. Then maybe mess around with medium tanks and get your air superiority down It's a massive game. Just focus on the basics and expand from there. If things go bad in a game restart and try to make sure they don't go bad that exact same way. You'll eventually get your play style down then go to another country after 6 or 7 tries

Since ive see somone else say what division they are using i will aswell i am using 44 combat with as my max combat widhth but i have found the best to be 26 or 32 width they tend to work out realy well but late game 44 width org builds tend to do the lords work

If you are smart, micro intensive, and have plenty of pp, switching which designer you use depending on the plane you are working on can provide the best of all worlds. Any plane researched or upgraded under one designer will keep that designer's benefits until it changes again, so so in theory you could balance all the advantages, but generally clear skies makes everything better.

Honestly Tactical Bombers are pretty damn good if u know how to use them its like when u need cas they can do it u need there entire supply and logistics bombed u can do that and when u need to some ships blown up well u can do that to it might not be the greatest stats but they work very well

Tacs are a nice standin for strats when you just need to put bodies over an air zone and bomb it into submission. Overall, I dont find them as useful as cas or strats unless you are dealing with either side of the british fight. If you have the production and resources they are usually not worth spending factories on, but they are cheaper than strats when you have limited resources.

​@@trinalgalaxy5943 They're extremely useful if only for the fact that they can hit targets your CAS AND naval bombers cannot. THAT is infinitely more important than the fact that they don't match up to them stats wise. Asia and Africa? Large seazones / seazones far away from your coastline? Your fighters need every available airport to contest an airzone and you aren't interested in build more? TACs all the way. When it comes to strategic bombing, however, they're TERRIBLE. Utter garbage. I'd consider them supplementary even for low resource countries. If you're going to strat bomb, use strat bombers. TACs could probably find a million other things to do (saving you fuel as they sit on standby counts too!) besides that.

I tend to have my frontlines be supported this way and then micro the larger air war. makes it so you dont have to worry about leaving your air behind, but simultaneously I always end up with overloaded airfields when I do naval invasions from tiny islands... really hurts supply overall.

I was playing as Germany just trying to destroy the Soviet Union and I forgot about Italy invading Yugoslavia and that pulled me into war with the Allies. I took Moscow, Leningrad, and almost Stalingrad before all my Allies were killed off and my army was cut off

Recon is a big bonus if you stack different modifiers. Support company, spy agency and air recon working together gives intel advantage. That makes it much more likely for you to counter an opponent's battle plan. I believe there's also a straight up attack and defense bonus you get from Intel advantage too

Ehi Bitt3rsteel, great save. May I ask one thing? Do you find signal companies to be useful? Because I'm digging a little bit into that and they look awful to me, I'd rather have maintainance. Especially on tanks.

The coordination stat matters more for large divisions, like my tanks. It allows them to reinforce quickly, but mostly it allows them to concentrate fire on the enemy divisions, melting them faster

But in practise, I just tried to put a full army of 42 width tanks and battleplan the US (starting from Canada, in 1945, so the USA were pretty strong) with and without signal 4, from the same save point. I just deleted allmplains for both sides, so no CAS to interfere. No signal run killed more men (790k against 670k) and won 3 month quicker with no major encirclements. I'll try that again to be sure isn't just random, but yeah, maybe you can investigate a bit and see? I'm still not an expert on this game, so maybe it's just random, but it seems like there's something strange there. Thanks for the response
