Jeff Hardy's return in late 2006 quickly made him a major star in WWE, even bigger than previously. His mentality and outlook seemed more mature compared to previously and in ring, he was much better. I loved a bunch of his tag matches with Matt and of course the ladder match with Johnny Nitro stands out to me. What did you think of Jeff Hardy's return in 2006?

It was epic to me man. Because 2008-2009 jeff will always be one of the GOAT's, this return is the reason why he had the best run of his carrer.

It was refreshing to see him more focused and in his element upon his return. He had a string of matches where you can visibly see he's in a better place mentally whether he lost or won. It's always nice seeing his second run of matches whenever I watch my jeff hardy DVD. Haha also sick vid as always!

Man, Jeff hardy returning in 2006 to me was epic, Because he go on there and probably had the best run of his carrer in 2008-2009, I was always one of the biggest jeff hardy fanboy. So him returning might not seem huge to some people compared to his other return, But to me this was special.

I always liked this run of Jeff Hardy. Highlights of this run IMO include the ladder match at Armageddon, the Steel Cage Match at New Year's Revolution, and the Money in the Bank Match at WrestleMania 23. Jeff just had this amazing body of matches in his second run that far exceed his first(with the exception of the TLC Match at WrestleMania X-Seven).

I remember the vignettes for his return. I was about 9-10 years old. I just found out TNA was a thing around the time so I missed Jeff’s run there. So for a 3 good years (His match with The Rock being the last I saw before his initial departure). I was waiting for my favorite to come back after years. I remember wondering if I was dreaming when I seen the return vignette and when I settled down I was marking out like crazy. From a life long fan, Jeff Hardy I hope you come back stronger and unbeatable. (Outside of the ring)

Not only was it this year, that me and my family’s love for WWE was at its peak, but seeing the return of one of the most badass daredevils in all of wrestling history, just gave me and my brother so much happiness and our love for him skyrocketed like no other. I actually have to disagree with Jeff jobbing to Umaga being a bad thing. It made a big star out of Umaga. Jeff got his win back later on anyway. But that's what you're supposed to do. In order to create a new star you put the new guy over the old guy then all the kids at school the next day are talking about did you see that new guy who beat Jeff Hardy last night? Then in the rematch they kept that momentum going for Umaga instead of killing it. Solid booking

my aunt got my cousin and I tickets to a house show right when they were feuding with the country boys. we were little middle school Hardy fan boys and hated Cade and Murdoch. I remember us talking shit to them after they lost lol but after we left we were driving past Hooter's and those country bastards were just standing there shooting the shit so my aunt was like LOOK BOYS and pulled in even though we were saying NOOOOO!! the next 10 minutes was a blur. one of them attempted to sign my brown leather wallet with a black sharpie then I said some stupid shit I'm not sure what but whatever it was they took as me implying wrestling was fake and they proceeded to punk us the fuck out, shit was straight terrifying....years later we asked my aunt what she remembered about that night. she said she didn't remember us almost getting whipped but said they were hitting on her lmao

There’s a point where you have to ask, how many times can a guy screw up. Every time he has a “return” the countdown starts as to when he will inevitably blow it. At this point if you truly support him and care as a fan, you would not want him back in the business when he clearly cannot be responsible for himself.
