Not weird at all. Some people just have different goals in life. Some want to get married and make lil judgy brats like this (tho in context, she is just repeating the things she hears in Japanese society, this is the societal expectation, they conform and struggle to understand a nail sticking up. It must be hammered down in their eyes. In other words, different bad) and some people just want to relax at home alone. And some people want company but just struggle with putting themselves out there to find it. Nothing wrong with it, and there is no time limit to life happening despite what society may tell you
