I think they chose xhosa because not only is it kind of an ancient language for black people, (more or less African black people but still) but also it’s been tampered with the LEAST(I said least, I did not say it was never tampered with) in terms of its vowel system and how the linguistics of this language use the ridges at the top of your mouth to cause vibrations within.

Gotta give it to T'Challa, he didn't go for the kill while his own cousin was and that's why he let him get up and only cut his face and not his arteries when he could.
