I'm sure it has robotic augmented components. I've seen a video of a us soldier a long while back in an experimental robotic suit who was beating a punching bag for an on camera demonstration. He quit punching it later on because he was bored. In robotic suits the person of course controls the movements and isn't AI. But the mechanical components take the work load reducing stress and fatigue that a person would normally experience allowing for greater efficiency, force, stamina, and durability. Like the soldier... the Shredder is directing his attacks... but his suit is doing the work instead of his muscles.
