Shotaro is Japanese not Chinese. Him & Yuta are the only Japanese members so they speak Japanese to each other when it’s just them. They can also speak Korean.

I suggest for guys to understand where's jokes or phrase came from, maybe you guys can do reaction on NCT their original content like "It's Awkward But It's Ok (AWSAZ)" starting with Ep 1 or "Sun and Moon interview" or "JCC Ep - Foreign Swaggers" I hope that's help :)

you should react to the most unique girl group in kpop, LOONA! their concept is WILD, their discography is one of the best in kpop, their lore (known as the LOONAVERSE) is definitely the most intricate, their choreographies are on-par with the most intense boy groups, and their personalities are hilarious! i recommend watching these first: Paint The Town, Why Not?, Butterfly, Star and if you like these then you need to react to “The Avengers of KPOP: A Story of LOONA” by The Asian Theory to get a basic understanding of their ambitious concept, message, and goal as a group❣️
