People didn't appreciate it when they were together. It will never make sense to me why, but Cleveland isn't allowed to have good things, apparently. This team could easily still be competing for titles annually had they just kept LeBron and Kyrie together with Love/TT and a rejiggering of the guys around them every couple years. But, sports media loves nothing more than drama and they weren't happy until both of them were out of Cleveland and in bigger markets. Too bad, because Kyrie hasn't been as great since and LeBron can win as much as he wants in LA or wherever, it'll never mean as much as his title in CLE. Damn shame. At least we had those glorious three seasons. :'(

And while everyone keeps talking about how bad of a leader he is and how his ego ruined the Celtics team, none of the players have stated anything negative about him. I mean there hasn't even been reports that any of his teammates dislike him. People read a few headlines and think they know everything about these athletes and the entire team. MJ punched a teammate in the face, and Kobe openly called one of his teammates trash, yet no one criticizes their leadership. I think you could easily argue his Celtics seasons were two of his best on the floor statistically... it was the off court and locker room stuff that make them seem like a step back from his Cleveland years
