Man I'm old enough to have witnessed Larry Legend play... I'm black and it didn't matter what color he was. He was in a league all to him self. That was a statement made out of embarrassing Rodman's ego.. bt bird didn't care who you were.. he was a certified killer.. and one of my top ten all-time..👍🏿

I'm a 80s baby and I knew about Mj but when I really started to take basketball seriously my pops showed me how to post up and use my foot work like Mchale and make sure u got the follow thru rotation on the ball like Bird. I’m a Knick fan and Larry Bird is one of the greatest players I’ve ever seen. In an era 80’s that was Incredibly competitive with some great teams: Celtics Sixers Pistons Lakers etc… And a ton of Great HOF talent. MJ,Magic,Isiah,Bird,Kareem,DrJ,Moses Malone,Worthy,Hakeem,etc… too many to name. It was a privilege to watch those games. Bird won 3 MVP in a row!

The basketball was honestly more fun to watch to me, but in terms of league competitiveness, leading up to and through the 80s 9 teams joined the league, that severely diluted the talent pool, most years there were like 3 actually good teams at a time

Larry Bird created generations of Celtics fans. He is one of the Greats. I watched him as a kid, and created a life time celtics fan in me, which i passed down to my son and one day it will be passed to my grandson.

I was around that time and I am a Celtic fan and have been since 1958. I heard what Rodman said, and what Isaiah said, and Isaiah was agreeing with Rodman at the time Larry, who is very humble, did not trash talk either one of them, and he could have, Larry was all about winning and not about somebody saying some negativity about him! That’s why he’s called Larry legend😊😊😊

@@artfrancis9334 he's not. Zeke was great, but he's not top 10 all time. Both of those guys are. Bird-5 trips to the finals, 3 wins, 3 straight MVP's, finished top 2 for MVP 9 yrs straight. MJ-6 titles, 5 league MVP's, DPOY, like 9 1st team all defense selections...I could go on and on. So no, based on those numbers, Zeke can't sniff those two
