Zwag's complaints about Shieldbow are one of those things that I only partly agree with. And I feel like, as a mage player, he'd understand that Shieldbow is such an important item for ADCs to avoid getting Season 11'd. I think the item would be less oppressive if it wasn't a Lifesteal item. If it was just the low HP shield plus some resistances or HP on top of the Attack Speed and Damage, I feel like it'd be less annoying... Especially since certain champions abuse it harder than others. Samira, Yasuo, Yone, and now Graves all come to mind. But the Lifesteal just gives it so much sustain when it should be just burst mitigation.

The idea of the Shieldbow is great and would be welcome on the more fragile mages, too. It's the current execution of the item that is so bad, especially in how it's mainly not even the ADCs, which are a problem with the item.

It just should be hard nerfed for mele champions and everything would be great c: Bcs now this item just gives you everything - huge shield, hp, sustain in lane and on top of that a LOT of dmg. I think they should remove bonus ad when shield is activated

I think hes said that, that its just really bad that yone and yasuo abuse it, and it should be for adc only, except for samira who already takes way too much advantage off that life steal, but think about it, if they remove the lifesteal, of course it would be less viable for yone and yasuo, but for adc you would just never take it, as it stands right now, some adc still prefer krakenslayer or gale force over shieldbow, and you suggest for it to have its lifesteal taken away, who would buy it then, its an item thats abused by bruisers and tanks, no adc really loves it besides samira, riot just never hits the spot

for support it wouldn't be that bad, you could Everfrost > R > E > Q. for AP leona, I wouldn't recommend it because she barely has any scaling and Everfrost won't do much for you 1v1. the strongest Mythic for Leona is Divine Sunderer because of the %HP damage.

I don't think shieldbow is the problem. An item that increases survivability of adc (especially when they aren't in the best place) is needed. Problem is they are creating this class of melee adcs, who already have shit load of survivability - lifesteal, shields, mobility etc. And those champions get item that pushes this to ridiculous amounts. If you removed that item, many normal adcs would get screwed. Not that easy solution.

This is an issue with how the adcs work. They have shit base stats, so they need strong items. But nothing stops champs with strong stats from buying these items and becoming even more busted. Also let's not pretend shieldbow isn't just steraks for adcs

It’s not needed. Them item is cringe af on anyone because you get a shield and become nigh impossible to kill on top of likely having supports keeping you alive anyway. It’s already bad enough some adc’s have a good amount of options to keep themselves alive while being able to burst as hard as an assassin. *Xayah* then you give them sustain AND huge damage mitigation? No fuck shieldbow it needs to leave.

Cringebow is not a problem. Problem is, there is literally 0 items that counters it as AP. There should be 800-1000g item, just like book for grievous wounds, reducing all of their active shields by 20%. That's it. 20%. Not 35 or 50%. As AP u are stronger, and can burst through a lot of stuff, so 20% is enough.

I don’t think it’s well known but Serpents fang does work on mages. The item just states damage done and not a specific type of damage. I’ve tried it on Teemo and anivia in aram with good results. Obviously wasting an item slot building ad isn’t exactly efficient, but it does work if absolutely needed. Let’s just hope the new mage item coming will be decent…but I won’t hold my breath.

He did have a reaction to it. It's not even an "anti shield item". It just gives u more magic pen when they use a shield. It doesn't break the shield, it just reduces the enemies resistances I believe so it's still horrible

@@adagio7711 Well, yes, if the numbers are good the item is strong. That's always true (remember 40 AH Vigilant Wardstone on even non-supports). But with how the ability is said to work and with mage item track record, it needs at least two rounds of buffs and a minirework to be usable in more than a few specific situations (initial horizon focus lol.). But if it has enough power in auxiliary abilities or stats to not totally gimp you, I'm prepared and even hopeful to eat my words.

At least they want to make a "Shieldbow" for mages as well, it's a pity it will be the worse version of it. As I saw in the preseason video it will be a damagereduce item but from the first hit for few second then it will go on cooldown. So in my opinion if you would play againt an assassin in lane it will hit you with 1 spell, wait for a few second and all -in afterwards. So yeah they think about mages as well.

love the build, and as someone who loves to play sett, the problem with a sett is staying in the fight is usually the right call for a sett, unless it's a ranged champ or adc, and I usually end up with a team that when I int for them, they take 1 hit, and leave the fight, leaving me to eat the who team's attacks, so i just stop with team fights and focus on smashing every tower and pushing if a fight comes up (normally a 3v3 or something) and i shred the towers, so it causes a panic, someone leaves the fight (silver plays) gets killed by me, then my team wins their fight, another lane leaves to kill me, i get a kill, and rise repeat till we win, I can't trust my team to stick around for the fight, even when I'm a 12/0/4 sett with almost full build, it was only worth my time to do it when I was playing with a team of gold and plat players on both sides (minus my dumbass) and they could pick off the adc or heavy ap champ quick or weaken them to W killing range. Tho is suspect some of it is just due to better team comp and itemization and building.

they had t1 tower bot side and t2 top and bot. people kept focusing the yone in teamfights. vayne > annivia> yasuo>lee/yone most of that game was people running back and forth through jungle rather than pushing any form of objective so yeah of course the yasuo is gonna split push he got back into the game by csing because there was no pressure being applied to lanes other than the lane you were in. had numerous fights where your team won killing 3 or 4 and then immediately recalling instead of pushing a lane to get global gold (t1 and t2 bot side for example) objectives win games as the enemy team proved very well.

hey zwag,try this build for udyr please,its so funny,its even more funny if you send XD in /all after every kill,so the enemy gets so tilted the runes are: PTA triumph alacrity coup de grace cheap shot ravenous hunter or relentless hunter(for the funny) the items are: the fast boots(the white ones,i forgot the name) galeforce essence reaver infinity's edge collector(you can get this as second or third item for the funny) dominik(for the crit and the armor penetration) phantom dancer(for the speed) you dont need to get this item in this sequence,its just so funny seeing them disappear with 3 autos you want max your Q and E for the attack speed and stun then just target someone in the game,you see him,you go kill him no matter what,and you dont want to level up your R just the Q E and W day 6 asking
