In this makeover, I transform an old vanity to a pair of MCM nightstands, featuring custom made handles and legs, and a lot of Bondo repairs.
My initial plan for this makeover was to stain one of the drawers on each piece; however, I also really wanted to try out the shown leg design for a long time, and I decided that a stained drawer would add one too many design elements to the overall look.
Let me know what you think!

Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzbin.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

Great end pieces, but I'd love to see you do something like a writing desk with a fold down lid. My great-grandfather's desk is a converted church organ with felt and leather lining, and it's a spectacular piece of furniture I'm excited to have passed on to me one day. These furniture remodel videos are always so soothing to watch, or even just have them on in the background while I work. They may be power tool sounds, but for some reason, the way you film these videos very zen. Love it!

Growing up my parents had heavy, light-colored wood (oak?) nightstands. Years later my mother told me they had been part of a vanity that was taken apart. She didn't say why that was done but I think she did say she regretted doing it. Not sure. Yours, on the other hand was the absolute right thing to do and you did a beautiful job with the nightstands.
