Even reputable sites like boxrec have listed him highly. He is definitely a great boxer. www.thesun.co.uk/sport/9715785/sunsport-top-10-greatest-boxers-mayweather-ali/ Mike tyson is a great boxer and was certainly amongst the most entertaining to watch. But the goat? Naaa, certainly not when you analyze his overall career. When mikes talent peaked though he was very good I will admit.

@@sophiacadiz8016 Filipino guy here, the reason why Manny is involved in politics is because he uses his money and influence to help out struggling and poor people by building towns and financial support which why me and the entire nation of filipino fans adored him so much. Right now he's doing it quite well. Oh fun fact: Everytime Manny Fights, the Crime rate here in the Philippines will drop to Zero just to watch him
@sophiacadiz80163 жыл бұрын
@@janyogyog76 he can do that without dipping his toes in politics. Ever heard of philantropists? When he ran and won in the Senate, he said he will be 100% focused on his job as a Senator but records show he is one of the top absentees in sessions. He said boxing takes a back seat, but he will not think twice about leaving for training for weeks despite being a senator. If youre in politics, occupying a national position no less, shouldnt you be focused on your job? Sure he is extremely rich but he is being paid with taxpayers money - not to be a professional boxer nor a philantropist, but to be a Senator. Btw, your fun fact applies 10 years ago - when he was at his prime and he wasnt a senator yet. It doesn't happen anymore. #facts
@janyogyog763 жыл бұрын
@@sophiacadiz8016 although I agree. Yes, he's absent on session due to his boxing but I have to admit it does effect Pacquiao on both sides like his fight against Juan Manuel Marquez which resulted in a loss but learned a lesson to even both of his jobs. But he still put some great effort on the law side on some sessions he attended despite few but small controveries here and there like on ABS-CBN News and other local news outlets here in the Philippines. I almost agree about the fact that I said it's 10 years ago about the crime rate. But up until Manny's last fight against Keith Thurman, most of the crime rate during his fight at the time was low. Not saying it's near zero but the crime rate is still low here in Manila especially in Quezon City (The City with the Highest Crime Rate in the Philippines).

Announcer: “ i dont know if mayweather can handle the pressure” .. ofcourse he cant, thats why he waited for pac to slow down.
@NeverSober80083 жыл бұрын
The promoters waited until the fight reached the most hype, they saw it kept getting bigger until they saw Mayweather slow down against Maidana and Pacquiao slowed down against Marquez and realized they finally had to make the fight. They didn’t want it to happen too early, same reason Mosley, cotto, etc didn’t fight Mayweather until after the de la Hoya fight when he started setting ppv records

@james Deer it was floyd who was proven to have used PEDs, not pacquiao. Facts bro
@executor20563 жыл бұрын
@james Deer Floyd was the one who was caught by USADA using IV injections after their fight. Floyd wanted blood testing before the fight to weaken manny, Manny wanted it immediately after the fight. Just google it, blood testing weakens the person. Floyd is duck, he wont be remembered decades from now. 50-0 is nothing. Julio Cesar Chavez SR. already did that. 89-0 before losing his 1st fight.
@pingngcapiz53623 жыл бұрын
@james Deer Do your research boy. Mayweather wanted 3 blood testing, blood test during weigh in, before and after the fight. Who tf does that? Taking too much blood from your body affects performance and that favors Mayweather 'cause he isn't the active one in the ring and rely on decision. You think Pacquiao would be able to knock one of the greatest defensive boxer down if he ain't 100%? Floyd is a smart boxer/businessman and fighting Pacquiao at his 100% level is a stupid move and would cost him and Las Vegas hundreds of millions $ after Pacquiao beats him. Use your brain and do your research first before you comment.
@pingngcapiz53623 жыл бұрын
@james Deer And Pacquiao sued Mayweather for PEDs accusation and won. Floyd was the one who got caught using banned IV before the fight and taking illegal amount of IV after Pacquiao fight. That amount of IV he took is enough dilute or flush out any substance in his blood. He did all the sketchy things and Manny still beat him with one arm. Their fight was the first and last time I saw someone literally running from his opponent, what a joke. 😂
