​​@@Indian0Lore In competitive formats, some cards are so abuseable they ruin the fun for the opponent. Cannon Soldier for example. With the right cards, you can infinitely feed a loop of damaging your opponent for game on turn 1.

The first ever cards to be banned Yatagarasu are infamous for Yata-Lock, a deck with the strategy of emptying your opponent hand and field then deny them draw with Yatagarasu. Essentially they can't play. As for what is unhealthy and what is not is entirely up to Konami. In OCG Maxx C is not banned thus they have slower control meta.. in TCG Maxx C is banned so solitaire deck is meta.
