Seth, form the bike hacks, did a little video on the mental health benefits of mountain biking I never really thought about it like that, only knowing my soul was happiest when on my bike. Weather riding through the words on my hardtail or racing bmx, the only thing I think about is the riding. No trauma, no drama, no life BS. Keep these videos coming!

I went through a several month bout of depression earlier this year. Almost a year off the bike. Rode 3 days in a row this week. Forgot how much I missed just being up in the hills.

I've been fully immersed in rock climbing therapy after Tuesday, but with a brief break in the Seattle weather, I need to get out my bike and hit the local trails. Thanks for the inspiration.

Mountain biking is always therapy for me. I can't remember a single time I have regretted going out for a ride or still having any brain fog when I come back home. The problem comes when I have long periods where I can't get out for a ride and all that tension builds up with no release in sight.

First of all, sick riding! :D Sucks to read in the comments tho that you've been feeling down. :/ I am sure that you have friends and family to talk to if you need it but if you ever want or need someone to listen (although I may just be a random Swedish guy) then I am always up for it

Nothing beats that trail therapy! Crazy how a ride can completely turn around my attitude. I feel like it definitely helps me clear my head and be a better dad, husband, coworker, etc

@mtb_corbin I wish man! Most of our trails get officially closed down in Wenatchee area on December 1st for the winter. Too much snow, plus our soil doesn’t ride very well when wet and it gets slick and rutted. I’ll be making some trips west this winter to get some rainy winter riding in

ahh man I'm sorry to hear that. Happens to me too, somedays I just don't feel like riding or making a video feels like a ton of effort to commentate and put together a story

Overall how long was the climb?

Whole ride was about 5.5k feet elevation gain. Took me about 3 hours with breaks. Trails are amazing but there's no easy way to lap them and you have to talk park pretty far from the ending/start
