The kid angle bothers me. His daughter was a little girl misled by the adults around her......the adults suck but the girl really regretted how she fallowed her mothers way.....and it lost her father.

Yeah I have to agree here. Of course I wouldn’t know if you who posted this comment has children of your own but I do and little girls at that and there’s no way I could blame my tiny daughter for that terrible mess. It truly takes a person the darkest of dark to abandon her without looking back

After a second time watching this, I can not say that I like this story. I can understand many of the actions that the MC took such as divorcing Emily, resigning from his family's company, and dissociating himself from his parents and sister, but I can not understand why he actually abandoned his daughter since she was an impressionable little girl. Furthermore, I can't understand why he didn't clear things up in the hospital when Noah took all those sleeping pills right then and there when he had the recording. He should have asked them to listen to the recording and then let him continue with the disowning from the family, the divorce from Emily, taking his 7-year-old daughter with him, and regardless of whether or not his resignation is approved of, act on the resignation regardless. Then move away with Lily, and then queue Anna into the family. That would have been a better resolution in my opinion.

I'll give the plot a six, writing a four, and overall interest a very generous five. I like stories where the stupid family lives with regret, but any part of that is just glossed over. No logic was applied during the story. All points of interest are even kept "off screen".
