poor yvonne but she deserved it if she got them to wait 90 minutes for bad sushi and a gimmick lol. Toast definitely had the right idea the moment he heard "mid" sushi. You're in Japan, why would you go and intentionally have mid sushi.

Because every place has a huge waitlist and waitlist = good (normal unsuspecting folks thinking). They got fed up with one long ass queue and went to another, still has a long ass waitlist so they hedge their bets and see which would come up first and got scammed. And then got scammed again when the food arrived.

Lived there for 2 yrs and i don't follow where tiktok etc go bc tons of other ppl go there same as when you search top results = tons of ppl. Most of those foods are catering to outsiders and are "cute" etc and cost 3x more than a local small place lolol. Next time just ask other jp streamers where they eat etc. Much better and WAY cheaper ez.

I mean, if a place you wanna go to is crowded just go to another one that isnt. There are more good restaurants in a city like Tokyo that are not as crowded, it is too high caliber

Lesson learn , maybe you plan things based of how little you gotta wait vs how long ... turns out Japan is famous for having cheaper venues that are solid choices regarless of the price, so i get this is their 3rd - 6th time, and you want to try everything else? But big waste if you cant eat what you want for 90 plus minutes you know? Lol poor Syd

​@HLW-up4wz First off Syd didn't want to wait she wanted to go elsewhere and find anything else that had a smaller wait time but Yvonne convinced her and Lily to wait in a 70-90 min sushi place that wasn't all that. She has every right to complain but you learn your lesson at the end of the day.
