The older wooden houses built in the 40s in doubleview were mainly in the lower side from where you were walking. Down across Scarborough bch road where I used to live .watching this made me feel homesick for a better time in my life .wish we could go back. Carefree times

We appreciate your comment and agree that our content is niche. But over 80% of the people watching aren't subscribers so it would be nice if they hit the Subscribe button. We do wonder if people watching KZbin realise when you Subscribe to a channel it's free and you don't get bombarded with emails or marketing material. Some people we've spoken to don't realise this. 😎

Generally new houses are built in double brick. Since COVID there has been some shortages of labour & materials so some builders are now changing to steel frame homes.

If your looking for the State housing in Doubleview it’s on the other side of Scarborough Beach Road,between Innaloo and Scarborough

Honestly quite liked both suburbs. Inaloo seemed to be a bustling one

Innaloo was very busy when we were filming and the suburb is okay but we thought Doubleview was worth paying the extra for. We were more impressed by the views, houses and block sizes in Doubleview.

We r so spoilt for choice here doctors on every corner 2x Bunnings within 10 km but I’m so over the population here in Melbourne. Getting used to just one doctor in area etc would be hard to live with.

Perth doesn't have the population to sustain lots of businesses. One of the downfalls of having a small population.

I lived in doubleview in the 70s and 80s .wow its changed a lot. Also leige st is pronounced like roman legionares or legionares disease .leige 😁
