Some the 'patients' in psychiatric hospitals spend more time under constant supervision and being stuffed with psychotropic substances than if they were put behind bars as a consequence of their actions. And as soon as you play a mentally ill person and you actually end up in a psychiatric ward, taking these psychoactive drugs can turn you into a wreck and once you in the system it may be difficult to get out of it.
