My first nat 20 (and the first of the campaign) was for Draconic Anatomy, to see if my character would know if a kobold was a female or male, if there were any traits that allowed identification. So, I elegantly and smoothly stated, "Imma rolling for kobold breasts!" First nat 20 of the campaign, and set the tone for how that Curse of Strahd game went.

Are you meaning double damage on a 19? If so that’s due to gunfighter being a homebrew conversion from pathfinder. Tal got it back at the end due to getting viscous intent at lvl 18. It wasn’t forgotten it was a class edit early on.
