I always found it a bit strange that people between 18-25 get Botox, etc simply because your body isn’t done developing especially when you’re 18-21. Sure, some develop quicker but you still continue to go through so many changes in your early adulthood. You don’t finish looking like an actual adult until you’re like 24/25. I think it’s a main reason all these influencers and celebrities look 50 at 24.
@MissDookiee7 ай бұрын
Name one 24 year old that looks 50, no exaggeration be fr.. like the problem is yall, yall so critical of people as if we are perfectly sculpted ourselves.. Botox doesn’t rearrange your face or even last more than 6 months so even if u get it at 21 it won’t even be around by 25 less u get it again, n again Botox doesn’t rearrange your face, nor does filler, any other non invasive treatment so your point on it’s why they look older at 24 makes no sense, all these women yall say look so old don’t they actually look their age.. n the way we look and age is mostly based genetics than anything, but even with the best genes u will still notice some signs of aging as u idk um age, at 25 u have been alive for 25 years talking ,smiling, laughing ya know living so it’s only natural that lines will set in because like a bending shoe it’s just what happens over time, many 25 year olds start getting set in smile line, so if that’s what yall are confusing with looking old grow up! 🙄 if celebs get Botox oh now it’s why u look old somehow but if they age naturally it’s still u look old💀.. fix your brain instead worrying about someone else’s face.

i’m so glad somebody is being real about this!!!! every time i say i’m against plastic surgery ppl make it seem like i’m just hating. first off, the plastic surgery industry is targeting MAINLY women. they prey on women’s insecurities for profit. second, if you get any thing done on your actual body you’re going to have to go back for multiple procedures as you age. that alone is dangerous bc it’s like okay the first one goes well…but what about the second? the third? and the older you get the more likely it is for complications. i think instead of supporting plastic surgery we should be celebrating each other’s differences! the features that make us all unique. these already BEAUTIFUL women are falling victim to toxic beauty standards, and society is slowly waking up and realizing just how unappealing it actually looks irl

You're putting on a really brave face for this heartbreak. For those of us who have experienced it, it's so much more excruciating and crippling than we're ever allowed to let on. This kind of loss has been said to match the emotional/mental repercussions of drug withdrawal.. It's no joke. Even though it's one of the most difficult, strenuous, painful things anyone can experience in their life, I feel like it's often downplayed for the very fact that we all have to experience it. You're supposed to laugh it off, girl boss your way out of the hurt, even though the very ground under your feet feels like it could give out at any second. Like you said, you'll probably be screaming into your pillow later (which is more than okay.) I see you, girl. I truly am sorry for what you're going through right now. But the fact that you can even get up and focus on putting content out there for us is absolutely mad to me. You're clearly a strong woman, you will get through this in no time. And the inspo you'll get for music?? Is going to be INSAANNEE. You'll adapt, overcome and persevere through this incredibly painful experience and meet the other side before you know it. Coming from someone who was once physically sick and non-functioning for days after a past breakup that I FLIPPIN ENDED, I've been with my person for 3 years now and the sting of those tears I shed back then are now weak and dull. Almost like it never happened. You'll be there soon, hang in there 🤍 PS Genuinely f*ck that guy, who even does something like that on Valentine's Day

I was watching interviews with 80s-90s actors and actresses and I was in awe because of how diverse and naturally beautiful they looked then I felt sad thinking about how a lot of celebrities nowadays have just relied so heavily on plastic surgery "to keep them beautiful". It's actually scary how almost every influencer and celebrity are starting to look like each other. I just need us normal folks to understand that beauty is very subjective and we were all created to look different and unique, now were in a time where almost every teenage girl wants to do some form of plastic surgery.

I think she ended up getting insecure, maybe when Kendall came to Kris asking for help with a modelling career, and Kris being all over it like a rash. Kylie does a similar presentation, Kendall complains that she's trying to copy her or trying to take something from her, and Kris essentially agrees will Kendall and dismissed her. I don't know if Kylie wasn't serious, she might have been copying or trying to compete with Kendall, she might have been totally unserious. But then when Kylie did get proceedures, and she suddenly got hugely popular, like she was as popular as, even more popular than Kim at points. Her mum suddenly wanted to put most of her "momager" energy into Kylie. Kendall was really nasty to Kylie on camera, like she'd be just mocking her or saying mean stuff and Kylie would go quiet. The dynamic with her sudden popularity and fame, her mother's sudden interest, and her relationship with Kendall. All this stuff could make even a very confident person feel some amount of insecurity.

I know how you feel I was broken up with after Valentine’s Day because my bf admitted to thinking of his ex the whole time and left me for her. I was beyond devastated and shattered. It was my first Valentine’s Day in a relationship too. He just accepted my gifts and heartfelt note on the holiday without giving me squat as well. Not even a “happy Valentine’s day”. I realized later that I was just his rebound and threw me aside after leading me on when I wasn’t working for him anymore. He practically just used me to make his ex jealous, brag to his black friends that he’s dating/dated a black girl, and for sexual favors (even after we broke up). Scum of a man. I await the day God places his wrath upon him.

They want what they want over there. I'm happier now that I've gotten distance from that place and I hope it can be understood by others that at the end of the day, the desire to people please around one's looks really comes down to inner child healing. Even those who demand aesthetic "perfection" from another are trying to fill a void - they're trying to get easier more sure profit for example. Do we want to use filler to be void fillers?

I LOVE Apple juice! So underrated❤ The issue with plastic surgery and cosmetics in general is that once you get it, you’re always going to want to continue to achieve that initial phase (literally an addiction) once it wears off. I think it’s okay to tweak something if it really bothers you that much however, no one is perfect and continuing to mess with your natural collagen, especially when younger, is ultimately going to stunt your natural beauty. To each it’s own but natural beauty >>>

Haha I thought I was the only one that loves a hump! I had a nose job a few years ago (my nose was generally very crooked, and my septum was a mess, so I wanted to straighten it), and I was very adamant about keeping my little bump. Having a trusted plastic surgeon that is compassionate and listens to you is a must.
@SCCCPZ7 ай бұрын
OKAY, TWO THINGS! One, I was also broke up with on this Valentine's day too lmao Second, I had a nose job so maybe I can give another perspective to this conversation. I had always hated my nose. I had tried a million times to love myself the way I was, but my brain wasn't giving in. During 2020 I was HAPPY because I got to cover my nose with a mask. When everyone was allowed to go out without masks, I had terrible anxiety about showing my face. So I decided to search for a good surgeon. I met a girl that had a nose job a long time ago, also her sister had a nose job before her, which meant I got to see the work of the surgeon fully heal (that's so important when looking for a surgeon, to see the FINAL result, it takes a year for a nose job to heal) I had a consultation and it was great. Before agreeing to the surgery, she informed me that the the visible part of septum was so crocked (if you looked at my nostrils one was way bigger that the other because of this) and it had been that way for such a long time that it might try to go back to the "original" place even after the surgery. She made sure I didn't want "perfection", she wouldn't had operated on me if she thought I wanted something unrealistic. I went into surgery fully aware that this wasn't a miracle solution, lots of things could happen during surgery or during recovery. Everything went well at the end. I'm the happiest I have ever been when it comes to my looks. It isn't perfect, I'm sure people like Gabi would hate it. But I love it and I don't regret get it. I think the problem with people that go under the knife multiple times is their unrealistic expectations. I also blame the surgeons, they agree to operate on them, promising they will get what they want this time. Well, that was a lot, I'm sorry lol If you had read all of this, I hope you have a great day ❤

I had to have 2 wisdom teeth removed through general anaesthetic, this was my first ever (and only operation) of any kind, the aftermath and recovery was enough to put me off going for any operations or procedures unless absolutely essential to my health (even without complications in my case). That's the sort of motto I am now trying to live by - Health over Aesthetics/Beauty - If it doesn't need doing (my nose functions as is for example) then I won't be doing it, because I remind myself of the realities of recovery. It's hard to live day by day with insecurities and body dysmoprhia and seeing the promotion of plastic surgery and enhancements or "tweakments", really fules it for me and angers me because it really is promoted as something not serious and quick and easy in some cases. When in reality, it can create a domino effect of insecurity and the recovery of certain procedures really aren't shown, or even the complications that can occur and the chances of reversal procedures being required. The whole industry, to me, comes across as incredibly predatory. Also, apple juice all day for me!

I have the same nose bump that Megan did, and honestly I LOVE it on me, on her, on anyone really, it's super cute imo, and its so sad she felt the need to have it shaved down

Megan Fox has said she has BDD. I think people need to leave her alone.

The only thing I think I would actually change is my teeth. After having my son my enamel basically eroded dental is friggin expensive and I've been struggling with my confidence because of it.

I got my lips done 2x in 2022. 1st time in march and the 2nd in november. I really like how they look, especially now that the filler regressed a bit and settled in my face. I was worried because after the second time I could tell it aged my face a lot ( I was 19) and it enhanced my smile lines the very first months. I’m glad they’re long lasting because now my lips look plumper but still natural, but I must say I regret it a little because I don’t feel like a natural beauty anymore because I’ve got a procedure done. I have a little bump on the right side of my nose but I try to not mention it so no one sees it and as you said, such noses have way much more character than a pointy, baby-like nose. I also thought about getting my chin done but I realized that the lipfiller x chin filler combo will give a very generic, instagram-like face. I would say if you get a face procedure than try to stick with one only so you still look unique, uniqueness and confidence will always be way sexier and beautiful than a conventionally pretty /perfect face.

I'm a 5'2 guy and it's bothering me a lot but I dont know if people are aware of the fact that there is a surgery that makes u taller and putting money aside you would have to learn how to walk and love again, all because of society standers, idk it's crazy to see a lot of guys going disabled just to be 6ft

My husband is 5'2", don't worry short king 👑 walk tall and cultivate yourself, that's what is outstanding to attract those around you. (And I've seen that surgery...)
