Every since this guy on parole got a job at Wendys with me, he would talk to me about all the shit he went through and everything bout his life before. We became pretty tight because we were very alike and I helped him out with a bunch of stuff while he wass on parole and probation. But it just made me be more open to people and their experiences good or bad. There's always a lesson, and I just hate when people think ex-convicts are only trouble and you should just avoid them. In reality if they did a lot of time, had no problems, and aren't mentally unstable a majority will have gained knowledge by reading up on books constantly stuck in there. Some things and stories my homie told me about taught me certain things and gave me a new perspective on anything. Sorry, for that wall of text but these videos are the exact same feeling. There is so much wisdom and accumulated knowledge that you put to good use and use to better you and your family. Obviously wouldn't be as successful as you are unlesss you use the knowledge given to you well and focus on bettering yourself. Ok sorry thats long

When I was in high school a group of guys that were in came to our school on an educational mission. I was in a psych class and we met with them in a round table type setting. It went so well that we ended up taking a field trip to their house. The girls too. Probably would never happen these days and had serious opposition then. I will never forget these men. They showed us a place we never wanted to be. They also showed us that thay still had something to give. And not just license plates. Somewhere I still have pictures of some of them. Chills me to think some of them never left alive. One of my classmates left that day with a license plate with his name on it under his coat. We all left that house with a better understanding and a better chance at a successful life. Thanks for taking me back there. Maybe your vids will impact a youth in this positive way.

Ever see the movie "Stoic"? It's based on a true story. Some guy gets put into a cell over the weekend for sleeping on a park bench and ends up betting on a card game with his cell mates. He cleans up in the first game and takes all their cigarettes, but they want to play again and convince him to lend them some so they can buy back in. He agrees, but adds a condition that if they lose again they have to eat a tube of to toothpaste. Long story short he loses and when they tell him HE has to eat the toothpaste now he tries to back out of it...and ends up being tormented and beaten/other stuff until he pretty much goes catatonic and lets them hang him.
