A robbery gone awry or something. There was like four or five that got caught up in it and they all snitched on each other besides him. He I guess got the most time. (As the driver.) my stepbrother was locked up for several years and he made each person in the family a 16 inch model of an 1800s sailing ship out of tightly rolled newspaper, coated with something that made it brown and rigid, like wood. It had the mast, sales, ropes and rigging, rails, the rudder and even little people. The shape and contours were absolutely perfect. It was amazing… like something you'd see in a display case. Wish I still had it.

I got out of Alabama DOC over forty months ago, gone are the solid white outfits. I saw the all white prisoner clothes phase out around 2021. I’m guessing this guy is at Saint Clair, those cinder blocks behind him indicate that. I’ve never been to Donalson (aka West Jefferson), or Holman. Those vents show Saint Clair’s double-inmate cells, too. All camps I mentioned are Level 5/6 facilities. Virtually all the guys have Life Imprisonment, or Life Without, or three 100-year sentences running wild for example. When cell phones made it into Alabama DOC around 2007, it slowly changed things for the worst. Some use them for proving prison conditions, but others do the dumb shit. And inmates have been killed over a cellphone.

I was a LEO in west tn jail. we housed feds and let me tell you, I was shocked at the things they made to, how should I say it "make the cell work for them" one week I was watching one of the fed pods and wondering why I had a fed collecting peoples oat meal. it was shyt according to the census. so a few days later I asked him. he said "ms barbara, this is a million times better than glue or sealant. nothing was coming off those walls. lol. I was at Toledo in Ohio which is a level 4 and the officers rarely said anything about us covering our vents. Also the cardboard we got from toilet paper boxes as you said but much more than that. It was easily attainable. Toledo was also air conditioned which was wild but just a little insight on another state. Love your channel big dawg

Spent a few months, a few times in a dorm cell. The temp was the exact opposite of what you would want. At night when you could get under your blanket, it was hot as hell. During the day when you'd get tossed into the holding cell for the rest of shift for getting under your blanket, it was cold. They had to spend extra money on electric to make you uncomfortable.
