The Minecraft server having Proximity chat is such a huge win NGL. Though I do acknowledge that a bunch of classic Minecraft interactions only turned out legendary because the yapping was unheard in the moment.
@danielgehring74378 ай бұрын
I think just the interaction with Lui chasing after Mococo while she hoarsely kept screaming 'nooooae!' should pretty much convince everyone it needs to happen as often as possible.
@DarchrowTheEnigma8 ай бұрын
a bit unrelated from Hololive but yes! proxy chat is 100% huge win if they add it. Another minecraft content creator group that I watched using proxy chat was Hermitcraft. And the experience tripled up and their views also rose insanely high after they started using it back in, I think, Season 5? Season 6? My point is "Proximity chat mod" 100% needs to be added to Hololive Minecraft server. The potential for random interactions + easier communication will make their contents much better, attracting more viewers!

I think we all knew after watching that clip of Ghost-Polka watching over Kaela watching over Hajime, that another international pairing was born. Which is wild with Polka because she has so much trouble with English, I didn't expect her to skip that level and go straight to Bahasa Indonesia. I really hope Polkaela is a thing. No idea what form it would take though. They are 2 of the biggest hoarders in Minecraft, so that might play into it.
@ELRIX8 ай бұрын
to be absolutely fair and objective, Indonesian language, I think, is easier to learn compared to English in general. However...... the problem is that whatever Indonesian we learn formally sounds nothing like the normal Indonesian language being spoken daily, but at least native Indonesian speakers could understand just fine.
@ValkyrieTiara8 ай бұрын
@@ELRIX That actually is fine for a native JP speaker because they also have different "formal" and "casual" languages (keigo and tamego) so such a distinction should come naturally to her. Also because the languages aren't related but ARE from a common geographic area and historically have had a lot of interaction with one another, she might find Indonesian a bit easier to pick up than English (the same way a French speaker might find it easier to learn German than Korean). On the other hand, as a relatively young Japanese person she'll have been exposed to a LOT of English from an early age and even studied some of it in school, so there's that lol Regardless, I doubt she's gonna go for full fluency and probably just pick up a few key words and phrases to allow for maximum memes during collabs lol Still cool she's looking into it at all though!
@Altra25038 ай бұрын
@@ELRIX I feel that while objectively Indonesian is easier to learn, I feel like it's would've made more sense to learn English that way she can interact with both EN and ID. ID and EN grammar wise are somewhat similar. But her accent(?) does make it so she pronounce Indonesian word really well/more understandable compared to the giberrish when JP tries to speak English. Also people in HoloID usually speak in the more formal/normal way anyway so it shouldn't be a big problem. (When I think about it, why JP can say "selamat" and not "selamato" but in english "combat" becomes "combato")
@Erispedia8 ай бұрын
Going from Japanese to Indonesian should be easier than to English. Because Indonesian language is mostly phonetically consistent just like Japanese. So it’s should be easier to pronounce.
@muzakkiwangjoo938 ай бұрын
As of difficulty, indo got lack of various vocabulary which makes it easier. But the hardest thing is the pronounciation. Most western people couldn't get it right, let alone japanese

ID translation kinda hard tbh, cause google use the formal Indonesian language which is kinda hard to pronounce and sometimes it's too long 😂, Ex: selamat pagi - Good morning - おはよゆございます. You don't really need to say "selamat", "pagi" is enough ( cause it sounds more natural ) 😅 0:38 and for the translation here you can shorten it like this ID : Pagi,Kamu lagi apa sekarang? ( Morning, What you're doing now? ) "Kamu"&"Anda" is "you" but "Anda" too formal and we rarely use it 😅
