I really needed to hear this video because I struggled a lot this weekend but I also realized something else this weekend when Mel said sometimes we pray for things that we want and it feels like they are unanswered I think God does give us answers but because they aren’t the ones that we want to hear we think he’s not listening when in reality he’s saying no and the only reason he’s saying no is because it’s not part of his plan for us especially when it’s about a person or relationship it’s really hard to accept the answer being no but it’s only because he has something better in store and we just have to keep having faith and trust in him

Yes it does a few years ago I almost gave up praying for my great grandmother and grandfather’s salvation. 9 years ago as I was about to give up after 10 years of praying and fasting for my great grandmother’s salvation and on my 19th birthday. I called home back to Taiwan (when I was still living in Belize). My cousin who is a pastor now said our great grandmother has gave her life and baptized I went speechless and tears of joy. And everyone in the community who knew her thought she went crazy cuz she used to take buckets of pig manure and broom to pour on and sweep out any Christian or pastor who comes to share the Gospel. She became one of the friendliest person and her language and lifestyle changes. And on every Sunday morning at 6 am she would wake everyone up and make everyone go to church that starts at 9 am and only 5 min away. And kept on asking when will Pastor Phan ( the pastor who never gave up), will come back for a bible study. And 3 years later after she was radically changed God took her home. And just 5 years after she went home to Heaven, grandfather gave his life To Christ. And just a year later God also took him Home. Although it was painful loosing loved ones. But it was mixed emotions painful that they passed away but joyful in knowing that we will meet again in Heaven and their pain on earth is over. So I just want to encourage anyone who is about to give up thinking God isn’t listening don’t stop. Because just when you think all hope is lost God steps right in does His work.

Jessica Paez anxiety is a horrible thing. It comes out of the spirt of fear. I spent the best part of 10 years with chronic anxiety and ended up in hospital a number of times with what I can only call a feeling of impending doom. I can tell you now that Jesus delivered me from this. I gave it all over to Him. I stood On a part of scripture. 1 John 4 vs 18 which says that perfect love casts out all fear. If Jesus is in me and he is perfect love then how can fear be in me. Fear and love cannot coincide together. I pray that Gods love with remove all fear and anxiety from you and that you can rest in his love. Amen

I believe today is the day that I truly came to know why our prayers are delayed and at times people do not receive the answer leave this life in sadness. I’m praying for my son he faced failure in his life and back slides. He was ushered in a church since its beginning, when it started growing the Pastor and the newly came leaders ignored him. I’m praying for his salvation and mercy of Christ Jesus to be with him and prosper his future in spirituality and in life. He too is in your age. He is in Chicago and we two are in Sri Lanka.
