The Emperor meeting Corax will still always and forever be my favorite part of the Lore. I imagine it's much how the emperor must have looked when examining himself in the beginning of his life, each son found was much like himself in some sense, But here was a man on an unextraordinary world but who is clearly destined for much more much like the Emperor himself who is destined for the stars.

Before the primarch project, the Emperor created a superweapon in the shape of an angel. But it had this slight issue of killing everyone, eventually. Because nobody else was good enough or pure enough. The Emperor basically put it into forever stasis. THEN ONE OF HIS PRIMARCHS COMES OUT LOOKING LIKE AN ANGEL. So, yeah, I think caution would make perfect sense.

@@NemFX you mean the sleeper angel. it was an amazing creation. i find him not having any defects. the problem lies within the emperor himself. he assigned him to a common war. he should have sent him to the warp and cause chaos to the chaos being if you know what i mean. he will be a never ending problem to the chaos gods. that way humanity will have a peaceful time upgrading their tech. horus heresy would not have happened if the emperor was good with his decisions. what does he expect from a living weapon. to show sympathy? the emperor is weak. i should be the emperor.

I _so_ wanted a feather from Sanguinius when you spoke of it. ❣️🪽😮It's like listening to Saruman. That is fan fiction waiting to be written right there. Some young boy, around recruitment age coincidentally, finds one of his feathers. A true relic indeed,,, no doubt imbued with an awesome aura and power. Stories and rumors about something like that would attract the attention and interest of a lot of parties indeed.😶

Every time i hear about these stories, I'm reminded of the fact that it wasn't always the pure good Primarchs fighting the pure evil Primarchs, probably still isn't despite it all. Almost all of them saw each other as comrades in some fashion and we likely think way too black and white on their interactions and station in the Imperium. Prime example i've always known is the betrayal at Calth, Guilliman sat doing nothing for a full 2 hours watching his sons get slaughtered until he finally realized his true brother was in fact, gone. They're just.... brothers.... and they hate when they lose their kin, and in truth, hate the chaos entities that took them.

that was stated to be an error by the author of Deliverance Lost. Canonically all the 20/21 primarchs were rediscovered, THEN those 2 went missing.

Love Corax. I believe big E looked at Corax as the 1 primarch most like himself, his secret favorite. Like all children theres always that 1 kid who is most like mom or dad, well Corax is that for the Emperor. Big E shared more actual knowledge and secrets with Corax than any other primarch or being except Malcador.

Interesting to compare these side-by-side. Sanguinius cared broadly about humans and negotiated with the Emperor. Corax cared about his humans and his view of the Emperor waffled,. Perturabo fairly loathed humans and saw the Emperor as divine.

This is my introduction to this Sanguinius. This is my first look at the Emperor I've heard so much about for years, but never studied. I'm not even in this fandom; I'm just a crow following the stench of GW's heresy, and the marshaling of men for war. .... And now here I feel I could die for this Imperium. @@John008-0Totally disagree. What makes Warhammer is us the fans. Im not saying we should all be lock step in agreement but for the most part we the fans are what makes Warhammer. Without us there is no Warhammer. Just standing by Games Workshop no matter what does not make the lore better. When GW messes up we should let them know. Loyalty no matter what often leads to neglect and being taken for granted. Just look at the video game Industry for example. EA and Ubisoft to be precise.

How interesting that these went the way that they did and how utterly tragic for Angron. He was supposed to be a primarch like Vulcan of kindness but with the power to take away pain and suffering. He ended up being so broken that the Emperor snatched him away from his last stand with his fellow gladiators instead of helping him which drove him to madness and hatred. A broken tool unloved and unleashed upon the galaxy. Ignored and never even given a second chance or final talk like Konrad Curze or Magnus.
