Great job with the video as always. I honestly had no idea this album existed until this video. As for an underrated Queen song? I have a couple. A track from the film Highlander "Who Wants To Live Forever." And "One Vision." from Iron Eagle.

yeah those are pretty underrated but also pretty well known by actual Queen fans who listen to stuff outside the radio hits. I'd say "death on two legs" is pretty underrated as far as the guitar riff and the vocals

i donno.. i can see why bands choose not to make a whole new band at that age in their lives.. venues give you guaruntees based on what your estimated draw will be. If you're a completely new band, you're talking about going back to touring in a 15 passenger van and playing small clubs again.

Queen's *Face It Alone* is worth a listen as it was not only released in 2022, but features the whole band--- including John Deacon. Not their best song, but hey.. it's an actual Queen song. I bought The Cosmos Rocks back in the day as I'm a Queen fan with their entire discography on CD and still have it, and I still haven't listened to it in its entirety lmao. Not Queen related, but an album you should check out is *State of Emergency* by The Living End.

they did but i picked Paul Rodgers mainly because they actually did a full length album with him. They didn't do that with Adam Lambert (to my knowledge)

Paul Rodger’s first band Free is better than BC in my opinion, some lyrics have aged not that well, but the dynamics were some of the best ever on the rock blues. The last 2 albums sounded like proto-BC to me, but their first 4 albums are stellar

It's sort of funny that you compare one of the songs to something Jack Black's character in School of Rock would have written, because "C-Lebrity" starts out sounding almost exactly like "The Metal" by Tenacious D for the first few seconds. I own this on CD because at one point I wanted to listen to the full Queen discography and it's not officially streamable in any capacity, so I found a reasonable used copy online. It's been gathering dust after the one listen, but oddly, this made me want to pick it up again

Paul Rodgers was just a spectacularly bad choice. Brilliant as a blues rock vocalist embodying a man's man alpha image, basically the polar opposite of what Queen was all about. Very strange decision, I actually worked in a music store in 2004 so I remember when this all went down.

yeah he definitely projected that alpha male image but vocally at least in a live setting, his voice worked well with their music.. I could maybe see Brad Delp from Boston filling in but even though.. you can't replace the Mercury
